Counterfeit - My Book/Short Film 

Hey guys! 

Wow, I'm so amazed by the continued support and love for this book, even after almost 3 years since its first publishing! I never would have expected this - it's honestly a dream!!

I have a new book up on my page (which is my favourite I have wrote so far) and it is called Counterfeit! It's a dystopian trilogy; I won't reveal the name of the third book yet, but the second book - which should be out within the first few months of 2018, is called Insusceptible! 

       Counterfeit: made in imitation, so as to be passed off as genuine. 

       Insusceptible: incapable of being influenced of affected. 

The two main characters Pip and Charleston are portrayed by Arden Cho and Bob Morley. It also features Ross Butler, Nia Sioux, Jacob Lofland, Ansel Elgort, and many others. 

It focuses on Pip, a young Insusceptible whose world is contained inside the treatment camp known as The Dormir. The problem? They have a rule, a very specific one which when broken, kills you. No Human contact. Ever. 

Here is a prologue:

She was supposed to be safe.

That's what they told her when she left her world behind: no one could get in or out of The Dormir, no one could get sick; that's what they promised her. She was supposed to be safe... So why, she wondered, did the arrival of a distant, impassive guard make her feel threatened? Make all of the promises that had been made to her, become doubted?

And why, of all things, did that guard ask her to break the most sacred command? The one that would take away her life if it were broken?

She knew the rule: no human contact, ever. In order to live, this was what she had to follow.

So why did she break it? And more importantly...

How did she survive?

I am also in pre-production to make a short film of the book (I am filming the opening scene), and I will post this, as well as release a screenplay to you guys, sometime in late February.
