Storms.

(A/N: Y/D/N = Your daughter's name.)

Calum: I woke up to the sudden sound of thunder and the rain pouring heavily against the roof. I yawned and rolled over expecting to see Calum sleeping beside me. I frowned and sat up when I discovered that he wasn't there. I swung my feet over the side of the bed and stretched my arms out before I stood up and walked over to the bedroom door. It was open ajar and a light shone in from the hallway. I walked out and followed the light coming from Y/D/N's room. I entered the room quietly and my eyes landed on Calum and Y/D/N. Calum was lying down on her junior bed as she was sleeping on his chest as his arms wrapped around her tightly. I slowly bent down beside them and places my hand on Calum's arm. "Babe?" I whispered. "Calum, baby, wake up." I spoke as I gently tugged on him. His eyes fluttered open and he seemed confused for a few seconds. I carefully lifted our three year old from him and cradled her to my chest as he groaned and got up stiffly. I lifted the blankets up and tucked Y/D/N in before taking Calum's hand and dragging him back to bed. "Why were you in there babe?" I asked, laughing slightly as we both got under the covers. "She got scared of the thunder." He informed me, stretching his back out one last time before lying down and pulling me to his side. "Night Cal." I whispered as I closed my eyes. "Night beautiful."

Ashton: "Ash?" I heard faintly. "Ash?" I heard a bit more clearer this time. I opened my eyes and looked beside me to see Y/N looking up at me with distress filled eyes. "Hey, you ok?" I ask her as I lifted my arm up so that she could move closer to me. "I-I'm sorry for waking you. I'm stupid." She apologised quietly as she wiped under her eyes. "Shh." I cooed her. "You're not stupid. What's wrong." I asked her again, locking my fingers with hers. She sniffled before answering me as she drew aimless patterns against my chest. "I just get scared of the thunder. It's pathetic really." I frowned in sadness hearing her call herself pathetic. "Baby, don't say that about yourself." I said to her. "Everyone has their fears and yours is thunder. That's perfectly ok." I assured her. She flinched as a clap of thunder struck again and I hugged her tighter to calm her. "I'm sorry for waking you." She said to me again, obviously feeling guilty. "Don't be. I love you, Y/N." I told her as I placed a kiss to her forehead. "I love you too, Ash." She replied and leaned closer into me.

Luke: I don't know why but ever since I was little I've had a massive fear of thunder storms. Lightning I can handle, just not thunder so well. I woke up quickly when I heard the rain falling against the windows and the wind blowing through the trees. The sound of thunder roared through the sky and I instantly pulled the blanket up to cover my ears. I heard Luke mumble softly from beside me and I peeled my eyes open to see if he was waking up. I felt slightly guilty when I saw that he was. He reached his hand across trying to find me and I reached down to hold his hand. "You ok?" He murmured his voice coming out deep and raspy. The sound of thundered echoed right as I was about to answer and I lifted his arm up and snuggled into his side. He hugged me tightly and rested his chin on the top of my head, his hand moving up to play with my hair soothingly. "Just the thunder." I finally replied, trying to put all my focus into him. "Does it scare you?" He asked with no hint of judgement in his voice. I nodded gently and I leaned against his bare chest. "I'm right here. I love you." He whispered into my ear. I smiled tiredly and leaned further against him. "I love you too."

Michael: "Y/N?" I heard a whisper from beside me. "Baby wake up." They continued to speak. I stirred slightly before opening my eyes, looking to my right to see Michael propped up on his elbow beside me. I became aware of the thunder and lightning outside and groaned realising that it would make it harder to go back to sleep. "Mikey, why are you awake?" I laughed tiredly. "I couldn't sleep." He answered, smiling down at me. "And now, thanks to you, I can't sleep either." I mumbled in a joking matter. He sighed and let his head hit the pillow beside me, his hands resting under his head. I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around his torso and placed my head on his chest. "I really love you, Y/N." Michael spoke suddenly. I blushed slightly and cuddled closer to him. "I really love you too." I said back to him. I smiled and ran my fingers across his chest, listening to him as he began to reminisce about things we've done together. I soon found myself drifting back off to sleep as Michael continued to speak. "Goodnight baby." He whispered as he placed a kiss to my forehead right before I feel asleep.
