"So, you would like a job here Miss. Landerson?" the boy asked, hurting me by saying my last name. I nodded and gave him a small smile. I was applying for a job at a club as a stripper.
...No I'm totally kidding! I was applying to work at a bar in a small restaurant. I was talking to the manager who's name was Rick, and let me tell you, this fella was adorable. His blonde hair was short and simple but his golden eyes were perfect. They caught my attention immediately when I walked into his office. His skin was a light tan that was absolutely breath taking. He looked like a total bad ass though.
"I will look over your forms and call you if you got the job," he informed, standing from his chair behind the desk, and putting out his hand for me to shake. I stood as well, giving him a pleased smile and took his hand in mine.
I left his office after that and left the bar also. Jumping in my car, I drove back to the house, and noticed a car parked in front outside. It was a red, shiny mustang that I drooled over. Wondering who's it was, I pulled up in the driveway, and cut my engine, hopping out of the car and entering the house.
In the living room stood four guys, and then Hunter. Two of them looked strangely familiar to me. One stood taller than the other and he had brown, Mohawk spikey hair that hung in his face. His eyes were a light and gentle brown. The other had short spiked brown hair with dark brown eyes. His muscles looked liked they were ready to rip through his tight black shirt.
"Zoe, these are my friends," Hunter started. "The brothers are Ryan and Mark." The two I had just examined. "That's Tristen, and Chris."
I smiled and gave them a wave as I dropped my bag from my shoulder, and threw it on the floor next to the shoes that sat near the door. My stomach began to growl, telling me I needed food. The guys began to talk so I knew I wasn't being rude if I left the room. Making my way into the kitchen, I pulled out a box of pop-tarts and pulled a s'mores out. Tearing the wrapper, I broke off a chunk and popped it in my mouth as my back rested against the counter.
Hearing the front door open, I looked around the corner to find Hunter glaring at someone outside. The door was blocking my view of who it was but I had a pretty good idea. Placing my pop-tart on the table, I walked into the hall to find Tyler standing outside.
"Hunter, I came to warn you," he announced and turned towards me. "Both of you."
Raising an eyebrow, I glanced at Hunter who had his hands in balls at his sides. "I don't want to hear it."
"You need to know."
"No I don't!"
I felt a hand tugging at my arm so I turned around to find Mark. "C'mon," he whispered. I looked back at the two brothers who began yelling at eachother. "They'll be fine we just have to give them some space."
Nodding, I followed Mark and the other three into the kitchen, and out the back door, grabbing my pop-tart on the way. As we entered the warm air, my jaw hit the ground, and I dropped the pop-tart. Remind you that I haven't seen the back yard yet, so this was my first time.
An in ground, beautiful blue pool was connected to the brown wooden deck we were standing on, with a few big rocks at one side that had a water fall pouring off of them and into the pool. The yard was huge and palm trees were planted around it so no nosy neighbors would be able to see in. Also, a rock wall went along with them so absolutely no one could see. A trampoline sat in the yard making me smile, imagining Hunter jumping on it.
"This is so..."
"Incredible?"
"Outstanding?"
