Chapter 15

Zoe's POV.

I was laughing my ass off, ready to piss my pants. Ryan and Mark had me pinned to the ground, Mark holding my wrists above my head while Ryan straddled my waist. Ryan was tickling me like there was no tomorrow.

"Alright, don't make my girl pee," Hunter laughed, picking me up to set me on his lap while he plumped down on the couch. "It's not really much of a turn on."

I laughed and kissed his lips, his hands immediately getting tangled in my hair. I felt his tongue flick against my bottom lip, and opened for him to explore. My hands ran down his smooth, firm bare chest and felt his breathing increase.

"Please, keep it PG!" Tristen groaned, moving uncomfortably in his seat and I felt a blush rise to my cheeks as I noticed all attention was now on us.

"I have work tomorrow, so I'm going to head on up to bed," I informed, crawling off Hunters lap before hugging my brothers and running up the stairs.

I leaped into my soft, warm bed and rested my head on the pillow, pulling the covers up over my head.

When I walked into the bar, Sasha was no where to be seen while Brandon was wiping down the counters with a rag. I watched as his muscles flexed as he stroked up and down.

I shook my head of any thoughts that proceeded to run through my head. Hunter and I had just admitted to eachother that we loved eachother, but he hasn't asked me out yet. It wasn't like we were boyfriend and girlfriend. I was wondering when that would happen.

"Morning Zo," Brandon greeted as I sat on one of the stools across from him.

"Hello Brandon. Need any help?"

"No I'm almost finished." He wiped up and down one more time before throwing the rag over his shoulder. "I heard what happened with Sasha and Hunter. She called in sick today but Hunter told me everything."

I laughed and nodded my head. She was probably scared to face Hunter and I.

The front door opened and we both turned our heads to find Hunter strolling in, twirling his keys around his finger. The sexy smirk that was usually planted on his face was now gone. Instead, his lips were in a tight, straight line.

He sat next to me roughly as Brandon and I gave him curious looks. "Give me a beer," Hunter ordered, and Brandon pulled out a bottle from under the counter. Hunter quickly took a gulp and slammed it down.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked, arching an eyebrow.

He was quiet for a moment, and didn't answer right away. He took another sip from his drink before finally replying. "My father called today, and left a message. He said our three days are up, and he wants to talk to me."

My heart literally stopped. Has it already been three days? I wasn't even paying attention.

"Then go talk to him," I muttered, not being able to find my voice.

"I'm not that stupid Zoe! You do realize if I go talk to him, he'll kill me."

I hadn't thought about that either. Why out of all people do I have to be stuck in this situation? Yes I did want to help Hunter but there were so many obstacles in the way, and if I accidentally tripped over one, both of us would be dead.

"I need to figure something out," Hunter sighed, finishing off his beer. "It's not safe for you to work here without me. Someone from the gang could come in and take you."

"Hunter, you're starting to sound like a father here," I laughed, trying to lighten the mood but he just gave me a serious stare.

"I'll watch over her," Brandon smiled, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "Those ass holes won't want to mess with her while I'm around."
