Chapter 13

"No!" Hunter shouted, snatching the rag from my hand. "You don't wipe the table with bleach dumb ass!"

Hunter and I were rushing around the house, trying to make it as beat as we could since his mother was going to be here any second. He told me to wipe down the coffee table, so I sprayed a cloth with bleach and was ready to clean the table when he took the rag and started yelling.

"Well sorry Mr. I know everything!" I snarled, placing my hands on my hips and giving him an evil look.

"Just... go make sure the kitchen is clean before I have to spank you!"

"Spank me?" I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

"Yeah," he smirked teasingly, slowly making his way towards me. "It's where I pull you over my knee, and roughly but passionately, spank you repeatedly on the ass."

I gulped before we both heard a car door slam and watched a skinny woman pop out of a car, and walk up the pathway towards the front door. Hunter dragged me in front of the door, and we waited for the knock.

"Remember what I told you," he warned, opening the door after a small knock was heard.

"Hunter my baby boy!" a very pretty woman in her late fortys grinned, pulling my room mate into a tight bear hug. "You must be Zoe, I've heard so much about you!"

"Nice to meet you Mrs-"

"Please, call me Mandy," she smiled, shaking my hand gently. "Now I know what your parents did to you since I know your brothers and I just want to say how sorry I am."

"Mom!" Hunter snapped, but she gave him an evil glare.

"Shut it you!"

I couldn't hold back my laugh. Hunter dragged his mother and I into the kitchen where we all sat around the table where the food was waiting to be scoffed down. Mandy asked me a few questions as we ate and I was glad that I could answer them with ease.

As I was about to place a fork full of spaghetti into my mouth, Hunters smooth hand grasped my bare thigh, and gently rubbed up and down, causing me to squeak and drop my food.

"Everything okay sweet heart?" Mandy asked, a concerned look on her face.

"Oh yes," I smiled. "Just got a small chill I guess." She smiled and continued eating as did I, while Hunter was chuckling beside me, and I harshly hit his ankle with my foot.

The food was gone and Hunter was helping his mother wash them as I awkwardly sat in the living room on the couch, waiting for them. They soon walked into the room, and Mandy sat on the couch opposite of me, while Hunter sat next to me, taking my hand in his.

"Now kids, I would like to talk to the both of you," she started, causing me to get nervous. "I know you know about the relationship Drake and I have, and I know you know about his stupid rule. That's why I want you two to make sure you really feel something for eachother. And Hunter I don't want you turning into your father you hear me! I just want what's best for you both."

"Thank you Mandy I really appreciate that," I smiled, and Hunter turned my head to passionately kiss me on the lips. Butterflies erupted in my stomach as he looked into my eyes and smiled.

"I promise I will not turn out like him," Hunter whispered, and I could see Mandy smiling out of the corner of her eye. "I love Zoe." Those three words made my whole world collapse and my eyes widened as he smiled once again.

"And I love Hunter," I whispered, my heart beating rapidly in my chest. The room grew silent as we just looked into eachothers eyes like two love struct teenagers.

"You guys are so adorable!" Mandy smiled, clapping her hands together. "Well, I leave you two alone I guess." We all stood up and Mandy pulled me into a tight hug.

"Thank you Mandy-"

"Please, call me Mom," she smiled and I smiled as well, never really being able to call anyone mom. I hugged her back tightly before Hunter cleared his throat, and Mandy hugged him as well before leaving and jumping back into her car. I watched as Hunter shut the door and turned around as I smiled from him saying he loved me just minutes ago.

"I just have to tell you that all of that was just a show if you didn't know already." My smile suddenly faded and my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach with a large crash.

"Yeah, I didn't mean any of it either," I sorta lied. He patted my back before disappearing upstairs, so I quickly ran to find my cell phone.

"Yello," Casey answered in a chirpy tone. I needed some girl time with my best friend right now. After Hunter had said he loved me, I didn't know what to do. Did he mean it? Did he not mean it? He was making me so confused.
