Chapter 26
Zoe's POV.
I was wrapped in my amazing boyfriends arms under the warm blankets, his protectively holding my stomach. This was an amazing moment. Nothing could spoil it. I loved Hunter and I loved our baby. I placed my hand over his and rubbed his delicate skin with my thumb and he did the same to my stomach. Morning sickness hasn't been much of a problem. Since I was taking the pills, nothing's really been hurting. Even though I had to deal with vomiting at times and weird food cravings, it was worth it. Even though I was only a few weeks pregnant, I couldn't wait for my wonderful baby to be born!"Hunter," I mumbled as the sun started to set behind the trees and the room started to become darker and darker.
"Hmm?" he replied and I turned around to face him. His eyes were closed and his breathing was light and delicate. I cupped his cheeks and his beautiful eyes slowly opened.
"Guess what," I whispered, running kisses up his jaw line, stopping right at his lips. He smiled and held me closer to him at I sucked on his bottom lip.
"What?"
"I love you," I giggled and nuzzled my head in the crook of his neck.
"I know."
The moment was now ruined. I sat up half way and looked down at him. His hands ran slowly up my sides and he chuckled at my grouchy expression. "I love you too baby," he announced, pulling my and flipping me over so he was now on top of me, pinning my hands to the top of me head. He was ready to reach down and tenderly kiss my lips when a voice right next to us stopped him.
"I love you Hunter," they said in a girly voice and I screamed, pushing Hunter towards them. Hunter fell to the floor with an oof and I turned on the light to find Chris, laughing his ass off with Tristen right behind him, mimicking his chuckles.
"If someone really broke into the house, how will throwing me at them stop them?" Hunter groaned, rubbing his head from hitting the ground.
"C'mon love birds get dressed," Chris said after they slowed down their laughs.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Out for an early birthday dinner," Tristen smiled and that's when I noticed they were dressed in dinner attires. "You're brothers are downstairs waiting so hurry up. And no quickies!" With that, they left out room and I laughed, rolling my eyes.
Hunter stood up and rubbed his eyes, stretching his back to hear cracks. He walked over to the closet and pulled out some dark jeans and a black button down shirt. I stood up then deciding not to be a creep and watch him change, and walked over to our closet. Yes, OUR closet. I had finally moved all of my clothes into his room and that's really all I needed. I donated my furniture to goodwill since Hunter already had a bed and a dresser.
Rummaging through the closet, I finally pulled out a cute pink top with a small bow on the chest. I pulled on a pair of jeans that tightened around my thighs and hung looser around my feet. I slipped into a pair of black Uggs and sprayed one squirt of perfume on my neck and looped my arm into Hunters. He escorted me down the stairs where the four guys were waiting.
We followed them to Tristens white SUV that was parked in the front of the house, and I climbed in the far back seat with Hunter. Instead of making out with him like any other couple would do in books or movies, I turned my head and just held his hand. My eyes stared out the window at the beautiful night sky. The moon was bright as a few dark clouds passed in front of it. I spotted a bunch of stars which reminded me of sparkling eyes looking back down at me.
