Liam’s pov

“Come on Lili! You’re gonna have a great night and you know it!” Exclaimed Izzy.

I just sighed.

“Look, I really appreciate it Iz, but I just don’t think I’m ready yet okay?” I said pleadingly, trying to get her to understand.

“Liam, it’s been 5 months sweetie. You need to try and move on from her.”

I looked down at my feet. Suddenly the ground seemed very interesting.

“I know Izzy. But isn’t it best if I try and do that before you introduce me to some girl you met at a concert? I’m not so sure if this is a good idea, she’s a directioner…”

“So what! Do you remember how much of an Ed Sheeran fan I was a year ago? Now look, I’ve been with Ed for over 4 months now! Don’t rule someone out before you’ve even met them just because they’re a fan alright?”

“I guess. I’ll meet her because of how much I love you Izzy, you’re like my little sister so I guess I’ll do this for you okay? I doubt that we’ll get along though…”

“Thank you thank you thank you! You won’t regret this Lili!”

“Liam, this is Lacey Williams. Lacey, meet Liam Payne, although I expect you already knew his name…”

I stuck out a hand to the girl that Izzy had set me up with.

I have to say, Izzy sure does have a lot of attractive friends these days.

“It’s nice to meet you Lacey. You have such a pretty name.” What am I doing? I thought I wasn’t gonna get into another relationship this soon! I need to stop flirting.

She took my hand in hers, but it felt kinda awkward so I decided to give her a hug instead.

“Nice to meet you too Liam, and please, you can call me Lace if you want. How are you?”

She seemed really shy. I’m glad she isn’t one of those over the top hyper fangirls.

“I’m great thanks. Do you want anything to drink? I was just making some popcorn for the movie.” I offered.

Izzy had decided it would be great to have a sleep over. Her, ed, Niall, Alice, Cloe, Harry, me, and Lacey. That way it wasn’t a proper date.

“Sure, do you have any diet coke?”

“Yep. A pretty girl like you doesn’t need diet though.” Again with the flirting?

She blushed.

I walked back into the living room with a tray loaded with food and drinks. Most of it was probably going to end up being eaten by Niall.

I sat on the sofa next to Lace and set the tray on the table.

“What movie we watching Haz?” I asked the curly haired boy who was currently sat on the floor picking a DVD to watch.

“How about the woman in black? I’ve seen it before and it wasn’t too scary…”

Cloe burst into laughter.

“It wasn’t that scary? Hazza, when we watched it in the cinema you ran out half way through. I ended up comforting you for the rest of the night!” She laughed.

I looked over at Harry and sure enough he looked extremely embarrassed.

“Woman in black it is then!” Exclaimed Ed excitedly, obviously looking forward to seeing his best mate make a fool of himself.
