(Harry’s POV)

I paced back and forth across Ed’s living room.

“What’s up Harry?” he asked, wondering why I was so agitated.

“Izzy won’t answer her phone. I must have done something to really upset her the other day at the hospital but I don’t know what it was.” I sighed.

“Well what did you say?”

“I just accidently brought up her ex-boyfriend. I know she was upset about it at that party but I didn’t think anything of it as it was like eight weeks ago. But I guess to her it seems like days ago.”

But it still didn’t make sense. We’d talked about James before and she hadn’t gotten pissed off at me. There had to be something else. Ed thought for a moment.

“Did you mention anything about the kiss again?” he asked.

“Yeah, only briefly though. She was saying how she thought it was crazy that you thought it was all your fault, that it was really hers, that she shouldn’t have reacted like that blah blah blah. And then I told her that in a way it actually was your fault because you were drunk and that if you had been sober you probably wouldn’t have kissed her that soon after meeting her.”

Only when I said that did I realise that I actually hadn’t said that. She’d cut me off half way through cause she’d started crying. So all she’d heard of that sentence was…. SHIT!

I grabbed my coat and headed towards the door.

“Where you going Harry?” Ed yelled.

“I just realised something, I’ll be back later if you’re still up for Nando’s?”

He just laughed at me.

“Dude, I will always be up for nando’s.” He chuckled.

I waved and walked out the door.

I had to go and speak to her.

What if she’d really liked him and they’d had a chance but then because of me saying that she’d given up on him?

I couldn’t let that happen.
