Chapter 33

~2 months later~

(Harry’s POV)

I sat down next to my girlfriend at the cinema.

“I can’t believe they’re playing Shrek here. Like seriously? That movie is old…”

“Oh shut up Haz. You know it’s my favourite!” Said Izzy playfully and she swatted some popcorn out of my hair. How it got in there, we shall never know.

I looked over at her and saw that she had a worried expression on her face.

“You okay love?” I asked, brushing a piece of hair back behind her ear.

“No, it’s just… oh never mind. It doesn’t matter.”

“Is it Ed? It’s okay to talk about him ya know, I’m not gonna go all crazy jealous boyfriend on you.” I joked. I can’t believe that after all of the trouble they’ve caused for us, management are still making us fake date.

“It’s just that it’s been 2 months Harry, and I haven’t heard anything from him. He’s not answering his phone, and his family doesn’t know where he’s gone either. His mum called me the other day asking if I knew. I’m just worried about him.” She sighed.

I felt sorry for her to be honest. This was all my fault really. Ed had just walked out, after telling her he’d made a mistake in thinking she was different or something. All she’d heard since then was one text message 3 days later saying that he hoped she’d enjoy being with me and that he was happy for us. And that she’d never have to put up with seeing or hearing from him again.

I know it broke her heart, because what happened with Cloe had broken mine. Ed had told her that I’d cheated on her before I had a chance to explain. She wouldn’t even talk to me.

“I’m sure he’s fine. He did promise that you’d never hear from him.”

“But surely he’d have told his family where he was going? And Stuart isn’t answering his phone either. He’s cancelled all of his Europe concerts, the ones where that guy passenger was supposed to be supporting him. I just hope he’s okay.”

“Iz, I’m not gonna lie okay? He probably isn’t fine, I mean, he thinks that you cheated on him. He probably hasn’t stopped loving you.”

She didn’t answer.

“And I know for a fact that you still love him.”

“We need to figure this out somehow. You need to be with Cloe, I know she’ll understand if we just explain.”

“But how? I mean, cloe is easy enough to talk to if we just convince her to give us a chance. But no-one can even contact Ed.”

“I don’t know. The other guys don’t even like me much anymore because they believe Ed over me. If they can’t forgive me, then he definitely won’t.”

“We’ll try and sort it okay? First we need to do something in public so that Ed realises we’ve broken up. To be honest I don’t care what management says anymore, you need him Iz. I can tell that you’re starting to get bad again.” I’d seen her arm earlier when her sleeve had pulled up slightly.

She must have realised what I meant as she casually tugged on her sleeves, pulling them over her hands.

“I’m sorry Haz; I know I promised I wouldn’t. But it’s not that easy, especially with him gone…”

“It’s alright, I understand babe. I’m here for you though if you need someone to talk to in the meantime. Please just try not to hurt yourself badly again.”
