(Harry’s POV)

“We are happy to release Isabella now. We feel that she has made enough progress and is definitely headed in the right direction for the future. I understand that you share a flat together?” The consultant asked Cloe.

It had been 4 months since that incident. And Izzy was recovering very well.

She seemed happy again, almost like she was at Niall’s sleepover all those months ago.

She’d even thanked Louis for saving her.

“Yeah, we’ve been living together for almost 4 years now, since we were 16.”

“Okay then. We can release Izzy into your care, as she has no parents. You have to make sure that she takes her prescribed medication and to never leave her on her own. She must always be with someone. You must also make sure that there are no sharp object, pills, etc., that she could use to harm herself or trigger her back into her old ways. I’m sure that as time goes by it will become easier, and of course she has all of her friends to help her through this.” The nurse told us, before getting both Izzy and Cloe to sign release papers.

She was still on the suicide watch, but had been moved down a level, as she was no longer an extreme case.

I felt my phone vibrate.

From: Ed

Hey, are they letting her out today? :D

To: Ed

Yeah, they’ve just signed the release papers for suicide watch and everything. Apparently she’s well enough to go home but we still need to keep an eye on her. :)

I felt sorry for the guy.

He’d come to the hospital multiple times over the last four months, hoping to at least see Izzy, just to see how she was.

But Izzy wasn’t letting him in. Physically as well as emotionally. She just hadn’t realised how much he would help her get through this.

One time he’d even gotten into the hospital room, only to be asked to leave by the nurses.

I’d been with Izzy on that occasion. Even though she’d told them to take him out, I could see the longing in her eyes. In her heart she wanted to see him, wanted him close to her. She always relaxed in his presence. But her head was in charge at the moment, and I guess it was telling her he was better off without her, and that she was better without him, because he was sure to annihilate her heart eventually.

If only she would realise that she needed him to help her get through this.

(Cloe’s POV)

“Look, I’ve been thinking. It’s been two weeks since Iz came home now, and she’s doing great. Why don’t we organise a small party to get her spirits up a bit? She needs to have some fun!” Harry exclaimed to me as we sat down at the table. It had become the norm now, whenever someone else was in either of our flats we’d come to Starbucks to talk.

“That’s a great idea. Who would we invite? Other than you and the other boys, along with their girlfriends.”

“Maybe some of Izzy’s old friends from UNI?” he suggested.

“Yeah, she hasn’t really seen any of them recently; she lost her place on her music course as apparently they don’t think someone like her would be a good image for their school.” I grumbled. It was outrageous! They had basically expelled her because she was depressed! I’m pretty sure that’s against her human rights or something.

“I guess that you and the boys can invite a few famous friends. Not too many though.”

We met each other’s gaze and realised that we were both thinking the same thing.
