Chapter 34

Ed’s pov

I sat down on the sofa and got out my laptop. Meredith immediately curled up on my lap, she’s such a cute little cat.

The familiar twitter screen popped up and once I logged in there was something all over my timeline that definitely caught my attention.

Harry and Isabella have broken up.

I can’t believe that Hazzy is over! :(

Things must be so awkward for the boys now, what with her being Nialler’s cousin.

Maybe it was never real at all; maybe it was management who invented Hazzy! :o

And that was just my timeline! My mentions had completely blown up because lots of the fans considered me and Harry to still be best mates. They were all asking if it was true.

How the hell am I meant to know!       

Some people had sent me a YouTube video.

I opened it and I was shocked at what I saw. Harry had cheated on her? How could he do that to Iz, he knows how insecure she is about stuff. We don’t need a repeat of the last time someone cheated on her…

Good on her for pushing him in the pool though...

“What you looking at Ed?” Asked Taylor as she walked into the room and sat down next to me.

She leant in to get a look at the screen.

“The little bitch had it coming. What goes around comes around. Come on, we gotta get going or we’ll be late.”

“Don’t say that about her.” I muttered under my breath, but I knew that she heard.

“She cheated on you with him Ed! Now she knows what it fucking feels like!”

“You don’t know her okay? You don’t know what she’s been through so just don’t judge her!” I shouted.

She just shook her head.

“I don’t get you Ed. You say that you’re over her, and yet you defend her even though she was clearly selfish and doesn’t give a damn about you.”

Was she right? Was I not over Izzy yet?

The fact that I still care and worry about her doesn’t mean that I still like her in that way does it?

“I’m sorry Ed; I shouldn’t have said those things. Come on, we gotta go or we’ll be late for the movie!”

“Okay Tay. I’ll be ready in a minute. I just gotta call Harry, he was one of my best mates and I feel that I ow it to him to at least find out the truth about this.”

She patted my shoulder and kissed my cheek.

“Okay Ed. I’ll see you in a bit.” And with that she got up and went back into the room where she kept her guitars, Meredith jumping from my lap and following at her heals.

I dialled Harry’s number and he answered after just a couple of rings.

“Hello?” He asked.

Of course, he wouldn’t recognise my new number.

“Erm hey harry. It’s Ed.” I said awkwardly.

“Oh, Ed.” The way he said it made me think that he wasn’t on his own and he was letting others know who he was talking to.

“I guess you found out about me and Izzy? Look, before you say anything, it’s not what you think okay?”

“What do you mean it’s not what I think? You cheated on her even though you knew about her past? Do you want a repeat of the last time Harry?!”
