Chapter 30

~Izzy’s pov~

“Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner tonight.” Ed asked as he gently kissed my neck.

“I’d love to.” I whispered happily.

I heard the door open and there was a scream.

“Guys! This is the living room! If you want to make babies I’d appreciate it if it wasn’t on our sofa! Other people do sit there you know!” Exclaimed Louis as he walked into the room.

“It’s alright Lou; we’re going out on a date tonight anyway.” Ed chuckled, still kissing me.

“That’s great, but please stop. I’m afraid that I could be permanently scarred by the image of Ed eating your face Izzy.”

Ed sighed.

“Fine. But only cause we don’t want to damage your innocence mate.”

That made me burst out laughing.

Ed and Louis just stared at me, their expressions a mix of happiness and pride.

“What?” I asked them.

Ed just shook his head.

“It’s just…. It’s great to see you smiling and laughing most of the time now. Seeing you happy makes me realise how far you’ve come love.” Ed smiled.

“Same here. I remember how happy you were when Niall first introduced us to you. It’s like you’re slowly becoming yourself again. And it’s amazing to watch.” Stated Louis.

I looked down at my hands, aware that I was probably blushing like crazy.

“Thanks guys.” I whispered. No matter how much progress I’d made, I still couldn’t take a compliment.

I got up and went to the room that I shared with Ed so that I could get ready for the date. But I have no clue where he’s taking me.

“Erm Ed? Where are we going for dinner?”

“It’s a surprise!” He yelled back.

“But how am I supposed to know what to wear?!”

“Cloe will be back in about 5 minutes, she knows where I’m taking you.”

“You gonna tell me where we’re going yet?” I asked as Ed helped me into the limousine. Something tells me that he’s gone completely all out on this date.

“Nope, but you’ll find out very soon.”

I sighed. I really hated surprises. They made me so anxious.

The car finally came to a stop and I found myself stood in the middle of nowhere.

“Ed, where on earth are we?” I giggled.

“This way love.” He said, taking my hand in his.

We walked down a short lane and through some hedges before we came to a beautiful little lake. The moonlight and the stars were reflecting off of the water and made it look magical.

“It’s amazing Ed. How did you find this place?”

“It was where I took Alice when we were together. It was like our special place, but now it can be ours Izzy.” He whispered.

He led me over to a decking area that was over the lake, where a table had been set up. It all looked like something out of a movie.

On the table was a selection of different food, and there was a blanket on the ground.
