Jordan's POV

"I believe it is getting late." My lady declared. "You must be tired!" I shook my head and glanced at her with curious and pleading eyes. I didn't want to go to sleep, I had so many more questions to ask her!

"But m'lady, I still have so many-" She cut me off, shushing me. She laughed a bit before insisting me to sleep. "I have many questions as well. Jordan, we shall speak more tomorrow."

She bit her lip before continuing, her eyes trailing to the window once again. She had been continuously check out the window ever since our conversation started. "Katie must be waiting for you."

My eyes widened as Katie was mentioned. I totally forgot about Katie! I have been ignoring her ever since we got here. How long have we been here? What time is it anyways?

It's almost nine o' clock. A voice stated. I searched around the room, looking for the voice. It's me, Ianite, silly. I whirled around and glanced at Ianite. She waved and giggled at me.

'Sorry, I have to get used to this again. It's been a while since I had you speaking to me though a mental link.'

'Again?'

'This was the way the past Ianites from Mianite and Ruxomar got in touch with me. After Ruxomar's Ianite...'

'I understand. Now how about you go check on Katie?'

'Okay. Farewell, m'lady.'

'Goodbye dear!'

With that, Ianite disappeared with the wind. I slowly opened the door, stepping onto the wooden platform outside. I walked down to each of the levels, searching for Katie.

I opened the final door and entered the room. To my not-so-surprise, Katie was in it, standing on the balcony. Her brunette hair swayed with the wind, as she watched the leaves of the tree fly in the air in all its beauty.

I walked up behind her and waited for her to realize my presence. "Sorry again." I apologized, as she flinched in response. She didn't bother to look at me. "I was just-"

"Having a one on one talk with your lady?" She cut off, saying the last words bitterly. I furrowed my eyebrows, grabbing her wrist as she tried to walk away. I whirled her around, making her face me.

"What is your problem? I was just talking to m'lady!" I retorted. She frowned, her arms crossed. She put her hands up in frustration as her body tensed up.

"There it is again! You might as well call her your wife!" She yelled. Was she seriously mad because of that? Why is it so important to her? Ianite is my goddess after all! I chuckled a bit at her confusion.

She was twice as confused. "You are tipped of because of that?!" I asked between laughs. "Ianite is my goddess! That's how I always called her!" Katie flushed in embarrassment, her body beginning to relax.

"I-uh..." She trailed off. I smirked at her as she was at a loss of words.

Katie's POV

"I-uh..." I murmured as I began to flush in shame. Gods dang it! Jordan began to smirk at me. Double dang it! Stupid, stupid, stupid! My mind screamed. Why the hell is Jordan smiling?!

Oh my gods, this is so embarrassing. How am I suppose to get away after that? Luckily, I didn't need to answer that question, because Jordan answered it for me.
