IF YOU HAVE TIME, CHECK OUT RISE OF THE PROPHESIED CLANS IF YOU DIDNT! It's another Mianite fanfiction, but the stars are you! I still need some OCs!
Katie's POV
Finally, I could actually do something without the others telling me I'm not 'well trained enough.' I convinced Sonja that the Jeremiah boy couldn't be that bad, and that she'd have to trust me at one point.
And if I'm right, I may know this Jeremiah person. It might just be a coincidence though. I haven't even seen the guy, because I've been moping around Jordan when we found him.
I strolled towards the prison, tray of food in hand. I could hear my stomach rumbling in hunger. Ughh, Katie, we'll get something to eat later.
I grabbed the key necklace - Sonja made it a necklace so it would be harder to get off if he did decide to steal it - and opened the metal doors.
"Uh, hello? Prisoner? Are you here, or are you dead?" I asked stupidly. I quickly locked the door behind me and slipped on the necklace holding the key.
In he center was a man, the man Sonja described with much detail. I knew it was him. Well, he was technically the only person here. "I have a name you know. And yes, I am here, and very much alive." He grumbled.
"Well, uh, here's your food!" I threw it on the floor, and all the plates clattered. Luckily they were plastic, eh, Kate? "Sorry." I muttered. The man rolled his eyes.
Eat already, idiot. "I would facepalm right now if I could." He huffed as if he could read my mind. He stared at the food in front of him. I looked at him with confusion.
"Excuse me?" I scoffed. The man refused to look at me. This guy has some attitude. And I don't like it. What was his name again?
"My hands. Gosh girls like you Katie are so stupid. Along with Sonja. But Sonja's an exception." He explained, looking at me. He smiled, and I remembered that smile. Wait, did I though? Looks familiar.
"O-o-oh right. S-sor- wait! We are not stu- wait. How do you know my name?" The fact he managed to screw me up with a single paragraph intimidated me.
"Wow, you already forgot me, Kate? I don't suppose you forgot Carter, Sapphire, or Kieran. Oh, you can't forget Axel!" All those names sounded awfully familiar. Then all the memories came rushing back.

"Axel! Stop! I can't run as fast!"
"Haha, bummer, Kate! I though you had it in ya." He teased, sprinting towards the tree. I rolled my eyes, and huffed. I needed to prove him wrong. With all my strength, I sprinted towards him.
To my surprise, I ran in front of him. I could tell he was as stunned as me. Being the most amazing boyfriend he was, he tackled me down, pulling me into a teddy bear hug. I giggled like the absolute idiot I was.
We spent most of the time at Ianite's place. Well, as much time before his phone rang. I frowned, and he looked at me apologetically. He picked it up and walked towards the lake.
He came back and sighed. That was never a good sign. "Sorry honey, I got to go to my job. The others are waiting for me." He muttered, grabbing his coat.
"So you'd go for your friends instead of your girlfriend. Where's your priorities, Ax? And what exactly is your job, that you always have to leave all of a sudden? Are you a superhero or something?" I giggled at the end.
