The group approached Katie's house, which was only a few yards away from Foodie Touches. It was really big for just two people; it we pretty much a mansion in the crew's eyes.
As they walked up to the main entrance, Katie lifted up the mat, making a small golden key visible. Katie picked it up and slipped the key into the keyhole. It fit perfectly.
The door unlocked, and everybody walked inside. "Welcome to my humble abode!" Katie declared, stretching her arms out, feeling the relief of her home.
--Insert Your Own Imagine Of House Here Because Rose Is Too Lazy!--
After Katie's long house tour, they finally got to their last stop. "And this is my brother's gaming room. I usually play some video games with him; I'm pretty good, if you ask me." She smirked and turned on the lights.
There was a large flatscreen TV and game controllers on the floor. There were two bean bags and a large cabinet of video games. In one of the corners was a small closet, holding multiple shirts and sporting goods.
"Speaking of my brother... Where is h-" Before Katie could finish her sentence, a hand tugged her into the closet. The others turned towards where Katie once stood. All began to panic and searched around the house.
The hand cupped Katie's mouth. She tried to cry for help, but it was useless. "Shh..!" A man demanded. "Katie, shut up!" Katie looked up, her eyes meeting her brother's.
"Who are they..?!" He whisper-yelled. Katie grabbed his hand and pushed it away from her mouth. "They are my friends." She murmured. He frowned, glaring at her.
"You can't just bring weird looking strangers in our house..!" He scolded. "And what are they doing here?"
Katie forced a fake smile and let out a nervous laugh. Her brother gave her a questioning look, waiting for her answer. "W-well you see... They are gonna stay here for the night..."
His eyes widened. "Wait, WHAT?!" He shrieked. Just then, a large amount of light went into the closet. Five worried and angered faces looked at Katie's brother, ready to attack.
Tom and James held two large stakes of wood, as Tucker aimed a toy gun at her brother. Sonja had a Nerf Rebelle bow in hand as well. (Lost ideas xD)
Jordan held a long belt in his hands. His eyes landed on the man's hand, wrapped around Katie's waist. He flushed in anger, glaring at him ominously.
"G-guys wait!" Katie said. "This is my older brother, Shawn."
Everybody sighed and lowered their weapons. Jordan loosened his grip, looking away in embarrassment. Shawn and Katie stood up from the closet and stepped out.
"Who are you and what are you doing in our house?" Shawn demanded an answer, glaring at the group. Katie tried to stop him, but he ignored her. "Stay out of this Katherine."
Tom was the first to react. "The name's Tom." He stated.
Wag took a step forward and introduced himself. "Hello, my name is James. If you would like, you can call me Wag or Waglington." He greeted, extending his hand for a handshake. Shawn didn't take it.
Wag frowned and stepped back into the group. Sonja gave Shawn a whole-hearted smile. "Hi, I'm Sonja," She started, before pointing to Tucker. "And this is Tucker, my boyfriend." Sonja explained, as Tucker wrapped his arm around her.
Shawn sighed. "Well that's one guy down. At least I know you won't be hitting on my sister." He said, glaring at Tucker. Shawn swiftly turned to Jordan, frowning. "And who might you be?"
Being called out, Jordan flinched as all eyes turned to him. "I- uh... I'm J-Jordan." He stuttered. Shawn observed him thoroughly, as if he were holding some sort of explosive device.
Shawn stepped in front of Jordan and glared at him. Jordan quickly glanced at Katie, hoping she had something to say. Shawn frowned and grabbed Jordan's shirt. "I'm watching you. Don't think I forgave you after..." His voice faltered.
He released Jordan, walking away. Katie quickly ran up to them. "I-I'm so sorry, my brother is just..."
"Uptight?" Tom finished her sentence. Sonja punched his shoulder and gave him a threatening glare. "Ow! What?"
Katie bit her lip. "No, Sonja. Tom is right. Shawn is just really overprotective with me." She started. "After all..." She drifted off. "Never mind..."
The group gave her a questionable and confused look. Katie almost blurted out some of the personal and miserable memories to them. To cover her blunder up, she changed the topic.
"Uh, so!" She clasped her hands together. "Who's sleeping where? I know there might not be enough rooms, so some of you have to sleep in the same room..."
Sonja and Tucker looked at each other and held hands. "We'll share a room." They said in harmony. Tom smirked, looking at the couple.
"Don't do anything too crazy; remember, we are guests. Wouldn't wanna do you know what I mean." He snickered. Sonja and Tucker frowned, glaring at Tom.
Katie coughed, catching everyone's attention. "Anyways...." She muttered. "Who else is sharing a room..?" She looked at Wag and Tom, hoping they would share the same room.
After all, it seemed that Jordan was the only person Katie would get along with, aside from maybe Sonja or Wag. She would most likely never really know; she never really had a full one-on-one conversation with anyone besides Jordan.
"Sparklez and Wag can stay together!" Tom exclaimed. Katie frowned as the words came out Tom's mouth. Wag and Jordan shrugged. Both agreed. Her frown grew larger as Jordan accepted willingly.
She guessed it would probably be a time to get to know Tom. Who knew, maybe he wasn't as bad as they said he was. It just seemed that Tom was a little too overconfident with himself, and that is what bothered Katie the most.
Katie was never such a optimistic person unlike her brother, even though everyone expected her to be so. "A-anywho... I guess I should lead you guys to your rooms..." She murmured, heading out of the room, expecting the others to follow.
"Wait...!" Sonja whined. "This early? It's only nine!" Katie checked her clock. 9:13. She would usually sleep at nine thirty. What time do they sleep? Don't they know they have to wake up early for work tomorrow?
"We can't, how about work tomorrow..?" She explained. Katie met Sonja's innocent and saddened emerald eyes. How could she say no to that? "Ughhhh..!" She groaned. "Fine! What do you wanna do?"
Sonja lifted up a controller off the ground and smiled. "Ya know, I always wanted to try this." She smirked. Katie couldn't help but to smile herself. She couldn't decline a video game offer! Katie nodded.
"Then it's settled. Who wants a go at CS GO?"
