Jordan's POV
"Shall we begin the procedures then, boy?" The spirit of Botan asked. I shook my head furiously in fear, scrambling about in my chair as the dark figure approached me.
A cold, merciless hand extended from misty figure and clawed my cheek, the spirit of Botan giving me a wicked smile. The red beady eyes on the obscure shadow pierced into my soul, as if it were prying out all my personal fears and memories. "So young, so dumb. How about this, I'll help you, maybe you'll make the right decisions this time."
The next thing I know...
Thump!

"Jardon?" A high pitched voice asked wearily. Every part of my body refused to move, as I lazily woke up from my nap. I opened my eyes slightly, instantly shutting them as a large amount of light filtered my hazy vision.
Warm patches of sunlight pressed against my sickly pale skin, as the shallow waters brushed my soaking wet coat. As uncomfortable as it may sound, it didn't bother me. It actually felt nice for once.
Yeah, aside from the fact my back was stinging and I was drowning in my own clothes, I was pretty much good. I sat up slowly, or at least I tried to, rubbing my eyes as I did so. Dang, was it bright here. My eyes shifted slightly as it got used the natural sunlight.
I inhaled the salty, yet brisk atmosphere, as I ran my fingers through my jet black hair. I let out a long, relieved sigh. As I turned to face the crystal clear blue ocean, it shimmered with all kinds of elegant colors as the golden sunrise appeared from afar. I felt... At home...
I would've absolutely forgotten about the voice if it weren't for the young lady that tapped me on the shoulder. "Jardon, ya hear me? Ye be okay, matey?" I froze in place, refusing to move a muscle. No. It can't be-
"So yer ignorin' me now, eh?" She huffed. I didn't want to look at her; I couldn't. It would just kill me to see her again. But another part of me pleaded to take a peak of the girl I had once fallen in love with.
"Fer' the love'a Ianite, Jardon, look at me." She growled, her warm, small hands placed on my face as she tilted it towards her. "Thas' better." She sighed, trying to keep an annoyed look, but I could see a small smile forming on her naturally colored lips.
The rays of sunlight flashed upon her face, highlighting her light brown hair, giving it a warm caramel glow. Her tan skin seemed golden as the sun was setting, her pirate suit ruffled and soaked by the water.
She kept a straight face, the one she had given me when we first met. "Never answered me question, mate." She reminded, punching me playfully. "Ya kinda blacked out der', ye okay? Ya seem pale. Fever, maybe?"
"Never knew you actually cared." I joked. Her grin faded away, and she seemed slightly offended. I knew that I said the wrong thing. Well crap. She frowned, her indescribable eyes gleaming with something I couldn't understand.
Sadness? Guilt? Embarrassment? I couldn't tell. "Fer' Ianite's sake, Jardon. Course I care. Do ya even remember why we're out here?" She commented, brushing the strands of hair away from her face.
"As a matter of fact... No." I murmured. Her frown grew even larger. Double crap. She sent daggers at me, her eyes shooting missiles of guilt to my chest. "W-what...?"
"Is dis some kinda prank?" She scoffed, arms crossed. "Yer te one who called me out 'ere, now ya actin' like nothin's up? You wanted to tell me something..." She reminded me, but I couldn't remember. My eyes widened. Wait, what? How-
Wait. I am home. This is the realm of Mianite, which means my house should be- I whipped around to face where my house once stood, and to my surprise, it wasn't blown up to millions of bits. But Tom blew it up!
And my communicator... My hands trailed to my pockets, searching for the small device given to me months ago. I stiffened as my fingers traced over it. I pulled it out, and it was in perfect shape, just like new. "Ya blanked out again, matey." She muttered.
"I'm sorry, I just don't know- it was just all of a sudden, and I- you-" I stuttered. "Capsize, you're not supposed to be here..!" I was finally able to let it out. She narrowed her eyes at me, furrowing her eyebrows.
"S'cuse me, matey? I am what?" She snarled. She turned away. "Fine 'en. I'll leave." She stood up, beginning to trudge away.
"N-no that's not what I meant!" I quickly said, grabbing her small, yet strong hands. I accidentally tugged her down towards me, and the next thing I know she was on top of me.
She froze in place at first, her eyes widened, before she hastily jumped to the side. "What was that for?!" She snapped, her face reddening.
"I'm sorry!! I didn't mean to I just- I don't- I'm just- it's not you. I'm just really confused and-" I was cut off short as her soft, delicate lips brushed against mine. I was shocked, and what I did next was even more stupid; I kissed back.
She gasped, pulling away. "Oh my Ianite- I'm sorry Jardon- I just got carried away and-" her voice faltered.
"Well, teh love birds went aboard teh S.S. Sparksize. Gon' to go bang now are we?" A voice emitted from behind me. "Ya proposed, yet Sparklez?"
"SKIPPER!" Capsize screamed at her brother, flushing as she glared at Redbeard.
It hadn't even struck me with what he had said. I was more surprised to see him than anything. "S-Skipper..?" I whispered. The ginger headed pirate grinned, before helping me up. He patted my back.
"Teh one n' only. Don' forget it matey!" He chuckled. He was so happy... So jolly and full of life, of course not after- His scar. His scar wasn't there; the scar he took when he faced Furia. The scar in remembrance of his courage to face the guardian that took Capsize from him.
It was gone-Capsize was here-but... How? "EY SPARKLEZ! SKIPPER! EYYY!" A British voice yelled on the other side of the beach. "Ya coming?"
"W-where are we going..?" I asked, suddenly confused; well, more confused.
"Ta confront Guardian Furia, silly boy." Skipper teased, oblivious of what was to happen just minutes later. I couldn't relive this day; I can't. My heart can't be shattered again.
"W-wait what!? No- we can't go-"
"Oh don't be a party pooper, Jordan." Tucker joked, dragging me to the priest's house. I tried to get away, but Tom grabbed me by the other arm and led me to the portal. Behind us was Skipper and Capsize, speaking to one another.
"Guys just let me talk to Capsize for a minute, please." I begged, struggling to get out of their grip.
"Oh, gonna give her a goodbye kiss?" Tucker winked. I rolled my eyes and shook my head. Tucker frowned. "Fine, but make it quick, we gotta beat that son of a bitch."
I ran towards Capsize and Skipper, then grabbed Capsize's shoulders. "Whatever you do, don't follow us. Please promise me this." I pleaded. Capsize, surprised and utterly confused by my sudden request glanced at me for a second, wondering how I had known.
"I-I'm not that stupid, Jardon." She said, giving me a fake smile, her eyes trailed towards her brother for a split second. She let out a small and pitiful laugh, before walking away. I knew I didn't convince her. I have to prevent... The incident from happening.
