"Alright..uhmm...yes put that there...uh huh...no no, put that over there" Charlie said as she stood back across the room while she watched and guided Vaggie around to put ornaments up on the tree.
"Perfect!" She said as she smiled only for Vaggie to turn around.
"Thats where it was 5 minutes ago babe" She said with a little giggle. Charlie upon hearing this information turned a little red and gave a nervous giggle.
"...oh..just..seeing if you was paying attention" she said with a small embarrassed smile before she heard the doorbell ring. She quickly turned her head over her shoulder as she looked at it. There was only 1 person she was expecting.

Charlie took off across the room quickly and made her way to the front door before she all but flung it open and gasped out.
"DAD!" She cried out happily as she moved and pulled him into a hug. She smiled and hugged him tighter as she felt his arms around her back.
"Oh ive missed you so much!" She said happily as she held onto her father.
"Ive missed you to appleseed" he replied back to her before Charlie looked up and gasped a little to herself.
"Oh...is this him?" She asked as she let go of her father and looked over at Alastor who was standing there quietly with one arm holding the luggage and another tucked into the pocket of his coat.
"Huh?....Right!" Lucifer said quickly as he momentarily forgot.
"Charlie..this is Alastor. Been dating him for a bit now, Alastor this is my beloved little appleseed ive told you so much about" he said as he looked at him and gave a motion with his eyes for him to say something. Internally Alastor groaned to himself, he didn't like being social in the first place, and if he didn't need the money so badly then he never would've agreed to this in the first place. But he did agree to this.
He smiled and pulled his hand out of his pocket and held it out for her to shake.
"Alastor, pleasure to finally meet you Charlie, your father has told me so much about you" he said as Charlie grabbed his hand and they shared a shake.
"And its a pleasure to finally meet you as well! Please come in" she said as she stepped aside for them to get inside before she closed the door behind them.
"Me and Vaggie are finishing the decorations on the tree and then we are going to make dinner before putting the star on the tree for the night!" She said happily as she looked at the two of them.
"And...Id like you to put the star on the tree this year dad...Ive always done it at your house..but..I think it'd be neat for you this year" she said as Lucifer turned and looked at her, to him this was a bit of a weird moment but also heartwarming. But it was weird due to he felt like it was out of pity from his mental state lately. He opened his mouth to say something before he felt a hand on his shoulder that made him stop.
"Your father would be honored to do so Charlie" Alastor said with a smile before Charlie clapped her hands together.
"Wonderful! Now why dont you both go upstairs to the rooms and get settled in, im sure your both a little tired from your flight" She said before leaving the room.
"Lead the way..Darling" Alastor said before he followed Lucifer up stairs and to the the guest room where he walked in before shutting the door and watched as Lucifer turned around.
"Why did you cut me off down there?" He asked as a bit annoyed.
"Because you was about to say something stupid" Alastor replied with a shrug as he sat his suitcase down and looked around the room, noting that there was only one queen sized bed. That thought of having to share a bed made him shiver some..especially due to who he was having to share it with.
"Wha...you didn't know what I was going to say!" Lucifer retorted back only for Alastor to turn and look at him.
"I didn't have to. You are a rather annoying person and I doubt your IQ hits double digits...so really its a default answer" he said with a hum of amusement as he smiled at the short blonde whose face was turning more red as he got flustered.
"Besides..thats my job isn't..Darling" Al said in a bit of a mocking tone as he reached over and poked Lucifers cheek. He watched as Lucifer spun around in a annoyed tone, much like a little kid would do. Alastor looked at him for a moment before he sighed some.
"You have a wonderful daughter it seems like Lucifer...and she is trying to repair something that has caused a rift between the 2 of you..dont make it harder for her" he said which caught Lucifer off guard.
1...his words did make sense, and 2..how did he go from teasing to caring in such a fast tone.
"Now...lets go down and get ready for dinner, I dont know about you but I personally am a bit hungry from the flight" he said he moved passed him and over to the door and opened it before motioning for Lucifer to go first, a polite gesture which went mostly unnoticed to Lucifer. Alastor watched as the blonde walked past him and down the hallway towards the stairs as he watched his form. There was something going on and it wasn't really that he cared, but he was a little curious at least to what had gone on between the father and daughter duo.
