(let's have some fun, shall we?)

The annual University Week was, by Roseanne's precise calculations, an unnecessary surge of acoustic violence, spatial chaos, and communal perspiration.

For three straight days, Lisa and Jisoo had tried every logical and illogical argument to recruit Roseanne for the inter-departmental Fun Games. Lisa had offered her prized limited-edition space posture cushion; Jisoo had attempted to bribe her with three consecutive weeks of doing her dishwashing duty. Roseanne had remained a human fortress of absolute refusal.

It was only when Jennie stepped into her study nook, wrapped her arms around Roseanne's neck from behind, and rested her chin on her shoulder that the fortress instantly crumbled.

"Rosie," Jennie had murmured softly, her lips brushing against Roseanne's ear, "if you play, I'll be on the sidelines for every single game holding your water bottle. And for every victory, you get five kisses. Anywhere you want."

Roseanne's pen had stopped mid-equation. Her eyes had widened slightly behind her glasses. "Five kiss units per victory? Unconditional spatial access?"

"Unconditional," Jennie had purred, pressing a soft, preliminary kiss to Roseanne's cheekbone.

"My participation is officially confirmed," Roseanne had stated flatly, adjusting her glasses as Lisa and Jisoo let out victory screeches in the hallway.

On the morning of the opening ceremony, the main university stadium was a roaring sea of departmental colors.

Each department wore customized athletic gear. The Physics Department sported sleek, charcoal-gray jersey shirts with deep navy windbreakers, Roseanne's back bearing her surname and her favorite constant, PARK - 299,792,458 m/s. Jennie's Fashion and Fine Arts batch wore bright emerald green jackets that Jennie had personally tailored to fit her friends impeccably.

Despite the deafening cheers echoing off the bleachers, Roseanne walked calmly trackside with her heavy noise-canceling headphones slipped over her ears, playing a soothing track of soft rainfall soundscapes. Her hand was firmly laced with Jennie's, their fingers intertwined tightly. Jennie walked right by her side, holding a high-capacity insulated water bottle in her other hand like a dedicated team manager.

Whenever the crowd's roaring reached a high-decibel spike, Jennie would gently squeeze Roseanne's hand, looking up to offer a radiant, reassuring smile. Roseanne would look down, her dark eyes softening instantly, pressing a light, grounding touch of her thumb against Jennie's knuckles.

Right along the sidelines, Jisoo was sprinting back and forth in an oversized press vest, holding a massive DSLR camera with a telephoto lens that looked entirely too heavy for her. As the head writer for the campus press committee, she was aggressively documenting the day.

"Hold still, lovers!" Jisoo shouted, crouching dramatically in the dirt and taking forty rapid-fire photos of their handholding. "This is going straight on the front page: Physics Department Deploys Secret Weapon—Aggressive PDA!"

The opening fireworks exploded overhead, signaling the start of the events. First up on the main grass field: the legendary Inter-Departmental Tug-of-War.

Roseanne removed her headphones, hanging them around her neck as the Physics team assembled. Standing beside her and Lisa were Jackson, Momo, Jihyo, and Jinyoung, along with three other science majors. Ten people in total, a mixed team of balanced builds.

Then, the Business Administration Department stepped onto the opposite side of the thick hemp rope.

Roseanne's eyes narrowed slightly behind her glasses. Walking out with smug, overly confident smirks were Kai, Mark, Chanyeol, Bobby, and six other towering male athletes. Kai's bottom lip was still slightly discolored from their alleyway encounter two weeks prior, but surrounded by his massive teammates, he looked ready to reclaim his bruised ego.
