The air inside Irene's spacious apartment was thick with the rich aroma of takeout container steam, freshly brewed iced coffee, and the quiet, collective exhaustion of six university students hitting a wall.

Stacks of heavy reference texts, swatches of textile materials, and glowing laptops spilled across the long coffee table. After four grueling days of balancing demanding individual capstone thesis work alongside their respective off-campus internship duties, the girls had organized an emergency overnight study session. Tucked away on the carpet in her usual corner sat Yeri, who had tagged along and currently buried under dense econometric modeling charts for her own coursework.

"If I have to look at one more structural fabric analysis sheet or rewrite another methodology section tonight, I am throwing my tablet straight out the window," Sana groaned playfully, tossing her stylus onto her plush rug cushion and stretching her arms over her head.

"At least we're surviving our internship hours," Joy added, leaning back against the sofa with a satisfied sigh as she popped a fried dumpling into her mouth. "Now we have a solid thirty-minute mandatory brain reset before we go back to typing."

Irene set her coffee cup down gracefully on a coaster, her dark eyes flashing with a sudden, mischievous glint as she surveyed the exhausted room. "Speaking of taking a break... let us shift topics to something much more entertaining."

"Oh no," Nayeon grinned instantly, sensing the trap. "What are we talking about?"

"Memorable moments during the early dating phase," Irene declared smoothly, her gaze drifting deliberately toward Jennie, who was quietly taking a slow sip of her iced tea.

In a split second, every single pair of eyes around the living room locked onto Jennie.

"Yes!" Sana squealed softly, clapping her hands together. "Jennie, you have been remarkably quiet about the early days! We demand full details on your love story!"

Jennie instantly felt her cheeks warm up. She tried to play it off with a casual wave of her hand, taking another sip of her drink. "Come on, guys. Why me? Ask Joy or Nayeon first. They have love lives too."

"Absolutely not," Joy laughed, pointing an accusing finger at Jennie. "Nayeon and I aren't even in serious relationships. Let's be real, you're the only one in our group in a long-term, committed relationship while balancing all this crazy stress. We've been dying to know the full story."

Nayeon nodded along enthusiastically. "Yeah, Jen! We love you, but you've been dodging the details forever. You have no choice tonight, tell us how you two actually became official girlfriends."

"Tell us! Tell us!" Yeri teased, nudging Jennie's knee gently from the floor. "Or I won't share my late-night snack stash with you!"

Jennie let out a soft, defeated laugh, her heart fluttering as her mind naturally drifted back to three years ago, during the sweet, deliberate beginning of her relationship with Roseanne.

"Fine, fine," Jennie surrendered, a soft, immensely fond smile stealing across her face as she leaned back into the velvet cushions. "If you really want to know... it took us five entire dates just to hold hands."

The entire booth erupted into a collective, dramatic gasp.

"Five dates?!" Sana gasped, her eyes wide. "Five dates just for hand-holding?!"

"And seven more dates after that just to hug," Jennie added with a sweet, shy chuckle, her fingers tracing the rim of her glass as memory after memory flooded back. "We didn't even have our first kiss yet."

"You are kidding," Nayeon said, shaking her head in utter disbelief. "Jennie Kim waited months for a first kiss?"

"I didn't mind at all," Jennie admitted softly, her tone turning warm and deeply affectionate as the girls listened intently. "Roseanne moves with absolute intention. Every single date was an opportunity for us to learn about each other's worlds. I taught her how to navigate social settings without feeling overwhelmed, and she taught me how to find beauty in quiet, structured routines. We were both trying so hard for each other, and it worked so effortlessly."
