Cuddles

I was sitting on the couch with Hank laying comfortably on my lap. I started tickling his stomach that made him get up and ran away from me. My eyes followed him until he went behind someone's legs.

My eyes trailed up to the person and stopped at her cute, pouty face. She rubbed her eyes tiredly and made grabby hands causing me to chuckle lightly. I pat my thigh and she speedily made her way towards me and plopped comfortably on my lap.

I lovingly embraced her in my arms as she snuggled closer to my chest and seconds later, cute snores were heard as she clings onto me like the koala she is.

I grabbed a book beside and began flipping to the page where I placed a bookmark on it. I was deeply engrossed in my reading while lighty patting the sleeping woman's back in my arms. Suddenly, I felt her stir in her sleep, instinctively closing the book and I'm sure I forgot which page I was reading but that doesn't matter.

I pulled her closer to my embrace and began rubbing her back while humming a made up tune. I then stopped what I was doing when I heard her mumbling incoherent words. I listened attentively to her words and a small smile was formed on my lips as she kept on mumbling.

"Rosie.."

"I love you..."

"Rosie Posie, my hubby.."

"Ice cream...I want.."

I quietly laughed when she whispered 'ice cream' but I felt a warm sensation on my chest as she said those words in her sleep. I planted a lingering kiss on her forehead before slowly getting up as I was trying my best to not disrupt her peaceful sleep.

Miraculously, I was able to make it to our bedroom without the sleeping mandu waking up. Gently placing her down on the soft matress and covering her with a blanket, I noticed her hand looking for something or someone at the empty side of the bed. Her face crunched in confusion when she couldn't feel anything beside her.

My gaze softens at the sight and I felt my heart wanting to crawl out of my chest due to this tremendous feeling. A whine is heard from her and I softly place my hand on top of hers. I let her tug my hand making me lie down beside her.

She guides my hand, settling it down to her waist and I feel her nuzzling closer to my chest. She lets out a hum in satisfaction as she is comfortable with the position.

"Nightnight, Rosie."

The way she murmured the words in a small voice had me tighten my hold on her and plant multiple pecks on the side of her head before closing my eyes and enter our dreamland.

Warm, soft lips started planting kisses all over my face with small hands holding my head in place. I scrunch my face and I fluttered my eyes open for a split second before closing them back again. An adorable whine erupted from her mouth and I tried my best to stop her hands from opening my eyes forcefully.

"No, Rosie! I know you're awake! Come on, give me attention, please."

I can tell that she's pouting while voicing out those words and I am not one to deny my princess. I stopped teasing her and opened my eyes, chuckling as she was mindlessly playing with her fingers with the heavy pout on her lips.

I cooed at the precious sight, quickly lounging myself on top of her and started attacking her cheeks with sloppy kisses. She giggled louder when I started tickling her sides. The room being filled with our laughters and our ragged breathing as we both calm ourselves down.

She lifted the back of her hand and soothing rubbed my cheek with her tender gaze staring right through me. I caught her hand and equalled the expression before giving her a soft kiss on the lips.

"Hi."

"Hello back to you, had a nice nap?"

"The best nap ever, Rosie!!"

She unexpectedly gave me a tight hug and rolled us to the side but instead of my back meeting the matress, I was met with a hard surface. I must say, I didn't feel much pain since the woman on top of me was busy giving me sweet kisses with her hands buried on my locks and legs wrapped around my waist.

Our kiss was then disrupted when a creature started barking at us. We both chuckled and reluctantly parted our lips. I grabbed her nape for a quick kiss before Hank jumped in between us and snuggled closer to the love of my life.

I watched them with a soft smile never leaving my face as everything I ever wanted was here right in front of me. My smile grew bigger as Hank licked Jennie all over face and her gummy smile came to life that made my heart scream in pure joy.

Jennie made an eye contact with me, curiosity can be seen in her eyes wondering what I'm thinking but I only graced a gentle smile at her and kissed her on the lips catching her off guard.

"I love you, Jennie Kim"

"I love you too, Park Chaeyoung."

"Can we eat ice cream and cuddle for the rest of the day, wifey?"

"Ice cream, yes! And of course, you're always welcome for cuddles, hubby."
