"What if by the time we have kids or grandkids, there would be flying cars. Then we'd be sharing our story about how we go to school. Like we used to cross the road and ride old 'on the ground' cars'. Our kids would surely not want to miss that story."

The woman sitting across from her, reading a book, looks at her with a puzzled expression on her face. The latter does not raise her eyes to her and continues to ruminate.

Her mind was clearly preoccupied with what she had just said, oblivious to the fact that the woman across her was beaming with delight at how adorable she was just now.

"You should stop watching Sci-fi movies. It's making your head look ten times bigger when you're thinking like that."

The deep-thinking woman shoots her a small glare before her lips grace a small pout, sinking her figure down the couch. She feels another presence beside her yet she still doesn't bat an eye towards her. A small chuckle is then heard and she can only roll her eyes, still feeling sulky.

"So, our kids. Already planning the future, Miss Roseanne Park?"

The said girl grumbles and finally faces her with a scowl expression that does nothing to reduce the other girl's smirk.
She eventually surrenders with her deepening pout coming back again. A hearty laugh blesses her ears and this time, she couldn't surpress the smile forming on her lips.

"You really are so cute, hubby."

Small palms guiding her face to the brunette, she feels her puffy cheeks being pinched and squished by her lovely girlfriend who is obviously gushing over her paired with heart fluttering compliments that made the Roseanne Park's fragile heart do rapid somersaults.

She happily is enjoying how her girlfriend is paying attention to her that she couldn't help but laugh when she feels her biting both cheeks playfully.

She grasps her wrists and pinned her down on the couch, stopping her antics. Resting her head on the brunette's chest and the blush on her cheeks calming down, her ears perks up to the question being asked.

"Do you really think we will be married and have kids in the future?"

"I'm positively certain of that, Jennie. Don't ever doubt it."

She quickly reassures her girlfriend after hearing the uncertainty and insecurity laced in her tone. She's resolute with her decision that they'll be together for a long time and she knows the latter feels the same way.

But sometimes, Jennie couldn't help but overthink, fear overtaking her mind that Roseanne might fall out of love in which Roseanne knows she'll never fall out love when she's been head over heels with her since they were best friends.

"I trust you."

"And I trust you."

Both of them are now beaming with smiles after hearing the words of affirmation. Roseanne closes her eyes as she feels her scalp being massaged by her lover's gentle fingers while her ears are being resonated by her sweet voice softly humming. When her name was called, the humming ended.

"Yes, wifey."

"I love you."

A smile immediately curved on her lips.

"I love you more."

"I also love your randomness. I don't mind telling our kids how we used those 'on the ground' cars in the near future."

That is true. Jennie has always admired how, seemingly out of nowhere, the woman she loves blurts out her personal thoughts, and instead of being surprised, she is curious by what else she is thinking. It makes her want to hear what she wants to say even more. And she's relieved that the woman feels at ease around her and that she can trust her with anything she says, including her random thoughts.
