chapter 14- Evil Returns

(Sorry for the very long wait! I've been busy and I couldn't update but I hope you like this)

MORNING RISES EARLY without any complaints and it's at this very day that Linda would get her revenge. The one thing that stood in her way was Maria's happiness and after a disastrous Valentines Day dance it was no surprise Linda was very pleased with herself. Linda was seating next to Lester, her arm around him, a smile etched on her face.
" so what are we going to do?" Asked Lester.
" leave that to me, all I want you to do is convince Maria to follow you and I'll do the rest. Got that?"
" sure"
Lester leaned in for a kiss but was stopped by Linda. She chuckles and soon the smile fades as her eyes turns to the direction of the door.

A tall man appears, and it's the same man who they were talking to and Linda got up and used this as an opportunity to rise up to have another word.
" if you think you can change my mind then don't you dare think about it" he said without looking around. Linda bit her lip as well as tightening her fist but she took a deep breath before speaking again.
" father please just let me do this, I promise I won't fail you. Let me get our revenge it's going to be fine I promise" said Linda knowing that her father was a man of his words still won't give up on striking the deal. The man sighs then slowly turns around allowing himself to face he's child.
" if I allow you to do this I want you to not do anything to harm them, promise me that Linda"
Linda looked into her father's eyes and smiled gleefully.
" I promise" Linda said undoubtedly without her fathers keen of sight had crossed her fingers behind her back knowing all to well that she is not here for a talk out with the one who ruined everything her had, for Maria has something that she didn't: Family.

Meanwhile, morning was still on the move when Maria decided to take a stroll outside; with her bag over her shoulders and her hair up, it seemed as though she was a lone. She wanted her own space, to get away from the crowd and to be able to take in the beauty of her 'wonderful' life. As she turned the corner without warning a hand grabbed her shoulder. With quick reflexes she backhanded the suspicious person from behind.
" whoa don't hit me" he said and Maria know immediately who it was and gave a groan.
" You! It's you. Gosh why are you following me?" She said letting him go.
Chase had followed her outside and was trying to make amends to what happened at the Dance.
" look I'm sorry okay, just hear me out. I was wrong to do that and that... I love you"
Maria was now staring at him, her eyes meeting he's and she mocked a grin.
" and why should I even forgive you or even talk to you right now?" She firmly Said gripping the strap of her bag.

Chase ran he's fingers through he's air due to frustration and then quickly leaned in for a kiss but Maria stopped him.
" no, just no" she said. They were still arguing until Chase heard something.
" wait, stop"
" what? I don't take orders from..."
Then right before she finished Lester came out of the other corner.
" hello, didn't mean to scare ya, I was just passing by"
" Lester, it's good to see you... What do you want? Asked Chase but Maria rolled her eyes to overprotectiveness and pushed passed Chase.
" hey, what are you doing here? And I'm sorry what happened at the Dance... It's just that..."
" don't worry about it, now where were we, ah yes, this..." As quick as the flash and Lester went for the kill, yet Maria was faster. She deflected he's blow to the head and kicked him in the stomach. Chase soon followed and helped her.
" WHAT THE HECK? Said Maria screamed and soon everything was black. Both Chase and Maria were on the ground.

When they woke up they found themselves in a holding cell. It was all empty but it wasn't big. They were placed in different holding cells, but they weren't too far. They were quite near actually.
" Hey, hey, Maria can you hear me?" Said Chase placing he's hands against the wall that separated each of them.
" yeah I can hear you"
" are you scared?"
" no, no I'm not. Why, are you feeling scared?"
" a little" said Chase now slipping down the wall towards the floor. Maria soon heard faint crying and for some weird reason a few flash memories came back to her. Soon her began to sing. For the first time she was remembering.

" Maria? Come back to me, please don't forget me please. I need you" Chase said, he's heart breaking. Soon a hand grabbed him slowly and he turned around and she was there just as beautiful and nerdy as ever. He kissed her and she kissed back but soon he started to fade away and without saying anything, she was gone and he cried once more.

They were were dancing randomly, not caring in the slightest. They would dance all night if they had to and nobody would stop them.
" Chase, hold on to me" she laughed, he laughed with her. Nothing was ever wrong and once they announced the dizziness of their heads, they settled themselves down on the couch and hold each other so tight that it was the end of the world.
" Chase?"
" yeah"
" don't forget me"
He smiled and kissed her forehead.
" always"
They laughed and soon they fell into a passionate kiss. Not knowing it would be their last.

They loved each other and it wasn't no loves at first sight. They will love each till the very end.
" Hey, have you seen my jacket, I couldn't find it any..." Chase kissed Maria in the middle of her sentence. Maria smiled which turned into a laugh and it seemed all too real. She didn't care when he does it, it was nice, it was funny. It was the only thing she had.

She stops singing the song and she presses her hands on the cold wall. She whispers to the guy on the other side of the wall. She whispers only one word.
" Chase"
