Neon's POV
Kiel didn't give me time to react. Did I heard everything right? Did she just said that she remembered all? Fuck!
Then what the hell am I acting like a stupid dumbass in the island thinking that she has an amnesia? Another fuck! That's embarrassing! I told her things I shouldn't have.
I spilled some of the beans of my past.
I should've known it earlier.
But that wasn't a good joke. Forgetting is never a good joke.
"You're on your senses now?"
We are now sitting on the bench near the field of the police station.
"I am." I sighed deeply. "I told things I shouldn't have to Avery."
He look at me seriously. "You didn't..."
"I did."
Silence came after. Kiel is looking somewhere far. He's having deep thoughts maybe.
"Why?"
I would never told him what happened. Faking an amnesia is not a good story to be told.
"I just... I was being talkative that time for some reason."
He nod. "Alam niya ba lahat?"
"No."
"Can I punch you?" I look at him puzzled. Why would he want to punch me?
"Why?"
He didn't say any word. He just punched me. Hard. I look at him bewilderedly.
"Just getting you back to your senses. Be careful next time."
And he left me there dumbfounded. Fuck! That wake up not just my senses but some anger inside me.
That bastard... that fucking hurts!
Drimmer's POV
Nginangatngat ko nang nginangatngat yung kuko simula ng umalis sila Maurine. Bakit kinakabahan ako? Ganito ba pag-in love? Joke! Pero kay Spade lang naman ako in love. Siya lang talaga choosy. At siya pa talaga ang may ganang umayaw sa Dyosa!
Napatingin aagad ako sa cellphone ko nang tumunog iyon. Agad ko 'yong dinampot at sinagot.
"Hello? Hello? Hi? Hello? How are you? I'm fine thank you!"
"Gaga! Umayos ka nga Drimmer." Halata ang iritasyon sa boses ni Maurine. Tumawa naman ako kahit natetensyon naman talaga ako.
"Ano ng balita?" Matagala itong nanahimik. Napahawak ako nang mahigpit sa cellphone ko. "Mau!" Bumuntunghininga lang ito.
Dyusmiyo! Kung malapit lang sa akin 'tong babaeng 'to mahahampas ko talaga. Pasuspense! Lalo tuloy akong kinakabahan.
"Hi Drimmy!"
Napatanga ako nang marinig ko ang boses na 'yon. Oh My Goodness!
"OMG!" Napatayo pa ako at napasigaw. Sa sobrang tuwa ko pa ay lumapit ako kay Spade at niyakap ito ng mahigpit.
Kunyari hindi tsansing. Pero tsansing talaga 'to!
"Nasasakal ako Drimmer!" Pero hindi ko siya pinakingan at nanatili akong nakayakap sa kaniya.
"Minsan lang 'to." Bulong ko pa at nagmamatigas talaga akong bumitaw kahit tinutulak niya ako. Epoxy kaya 'to! Makapit.
"Baliw."
