"what do you mean they arent closing !! " i yelled.

"they aren't fucken closing newt ." karen said gripping my hand.

i picked her up and ran to find alby. but before i could i saw teresa and thomas standing in front of the maze door.

" everyone hide !" yelled thomas running with teresa by his side.

we all ran toward the stalks of corn.

" newt it hurts ." karen said , she gripped my hand even harder. i laid her down and stayed quiet.

" newt if this is our last night, i love you." she said kissing me.

"don't say that we're gonna get out of here don't worry."

i kissed her back.

"what was that?" she asked. i heard crunches coming from the front of us.

" newt , karen is that you ?! " i heard thomas's voice and couple of other gladers.

" yes. " the whispered back.

" shut up you shank , and get over here ."

i saw some gladers and but didn't see clint or jeff.

" don't worry they went to go get weapons ." teresa said as if she could read my mind .

i heard a click clack near us. i held onto karen and saw that she was holding onto thomas' hand.

" HELP ME !" i heard on the gladers said as he was pulled by a griever.

" THEY FOUND US RUN !! "

we all ran toward the hut.

before thomas closed the door we saw alby, clint , and jeff running towards us.

" they're all over the place ." he said with barley any breath left .
