everyone did as i said.

we heard the click and clack of the grievers outside , my back began to tingle. i held onto karen and she held onto her stomach.

" newt it's hurting .. " she whispered.

" you're fine , you're fine ." i said.

she looked at me with a straight face , i couldn't read.

i heard a scream coming from outside , alby looked at me and nodded . he slowly opened the door to check outside.

thomas followed him out , i heard a griever's tail slash , i heard thomas yell.

" LET GO . "

he groaned louder and louder. i saw that the griever had a grip on alby'a shirt.

i pulled along with thomas trying to free alby but there was no use.

" get them out , tell her to get them out ." he said before letting go of our hands.

i stood there motionless.
