The Final Rounds: Rush to the Battle Arena!

I sat atop the roof of a building gazing at the stars. The memory of today playing through my head.

~Flashback~

"Miyu, you've become incredibly strong within the short amount of time. You could pass the final exam if you tried. So what will you do if you do?" I blinked and stared at him. What? He looked at me with sad eyes.

"What do you want to do?" I didn't even hesitate. "I want to protect Naruto and help him become Hokage." I repeated. That's truly what I want. For Naruto's dreams to come true.

He sighed and shook his head. "Is that all Miyu? You don't want to do anything for yourself? Do you not have any dream you want to pursue?" An image of Sasuke flashed through my head. I blinked. "All I want is for Naruto to grow and become Hokage. To have a family and be happy. That's all I want."

I like Sasuke, but Naruto is far more important to me. "'Naruto is not a child. He's a young man and he gets stronger and stronger every day. He may even surpass you eventually. What will you do then? When Naruto doesn't need you to protect him?" I was taken aback, a loss for words.

~Flashback End~

I sighed and laid back. A dream huh? I don't have a dream of my own.

I sighed and jumped off and walked throughout the village. People were out and about, celebrating. Tomorrow is the finals and everyone is excited about it.

I don't see the big deal. All it is, is gaining a title. A title means nothing, it's just words. There's no need for a festival for it. It's stupid really. But I'll go with the flow anyway.

Might as well go home. I got to get up early tomorrow.

Naruto actually left before me. But I don't see him anywhere. And I don't see Sasuke either. And he's in the first match against stupid Neji Hyuga. Tch. Stupid Hyuga. He's the one who is so set on damn fate. He pisses me off.

Apparently my match is the third match against some sound ninja. He's well-built and good looking, but he's pretty sketchy. He's a bit taller than Kiba and has spiky, navy blue, hair and matching eyes.

He wore a fitted black, muscle, shirt that didn't really cover anything other than his pecks. He also wore baggy black pants. He had two, curved, short swords attached to his brown holster. He radiated teenage heart throb. His name is Haruto Fujioka.

He glanced my way and gave me a blinding white smile. However his eyes weren't friendly. They were more amused. Tch. Cocky playboy.

I glanced at the other contestants. I had looked through their files prior to the exam. I had studied them to the best of my abilities and predicted the outcomes of all the matches.

Shino Aburame of the Aburame clan against my favorite cat is the second round. Shino's specialty is using jutsu's with insects. It's pretty tricky and troublesome to deal with. There are all types of bugs out there that a lot of people don't know much about. Just the lack of knowledge on insects can be deadly against his enemies. He's also calm and collected, so he's always thinking and creating strategies. And his chakra release is earth, matching his insects.

Birthday is January 23. Age, 12. Height 156.2 cm. Weight 45.8 kg. Blood type AB. Team Kurenai. Strongest member on his team that I can tell. He's definitely a force to be reckoned with.

As for kitty boy, well he's different. Birthday is May 15. He's 14, two years older than us. Height 165 cm. Weight 60 kg. Blood type B. From the Land of Wind, the Village Hidden in the Sand.

He's cocky, annoying, and lame. But he's strong. I can tell. His chakra is pretty strong and he has great control. He has to in order to be good at Puppet Mastery. I'm guessing by the texture of his chakra that his release is wind.

But he has one major flaw. Because his puppet fighting he can only do long range. While he's using his puppet he leaves his body vulnerable. The outcome winner, in my guess, is Shino

The fourth match is Shikamaru Nara vs. Temari. Shikamaru Nara of the Nara clan. The Nara clan has a special ability only they can do. And that's using shadows to fight. The members of his clan are usually incredibly smart and very dependable.

Birthday September 22nd. Age 12. Height 150.8 cm. Weight 42 kg. Blood type AB. Team Asuma. Chakra release is Earth.

As for Temari she is Kankuro's and Gaara's older sister. Birthday is August 23rd. Age 15. Height 157.3 cm. Weight 44.5 kg. Blood type O. Based on my knowledge her chakra release is wind. She uses that fan on her back mostly. Very powerful. It's a bit difficult to name the outcome of the winner of their match. But Temari is cocky and overconfident. That will be her downfall. Shikamaru is calm and rational. He'll be the winner.

The second match is Sasuke vs. Gaara. Sasuke Uchiha of the legendary Uchiha clan. Graduated tied at the top of our class. Is skilled in taijutsu and ninjutsu. He's still working on his genjutsu. He's pretty smart and can usually think rationally. However he's arrogant.

Birthday is July 23rd. Age 12. Height 150.8 cm. Weight 42.2 kg. Blood type AB. Kekkei Genkai is the Sharingan. Team Kakashi. Chakra release is fire.

Gaara. He remains a mystery even to me. Birthday January 19th. Age 12. Height 146.1 cm. Weight 39 kg. Blood type AB. And I'm not entirely sure about his Kekkei Genkai. And he has the One Tailed Beast Shukaku sealed inside him, just like Naruto.

He's incredibly dangerous. He's far more powerful than most. As much as I hate to admit it, he will probably be the victor.

Finally it's Naruto vs. Neji Hyuga of the Hyuga clan. Neji was the prodigy of last year's graduates, just as Sasuke is this years. And the Hyuga Clan is just as infamous as the Uchiha clan. He specializes in taijutsu, but using the Hyuga Clans gentle fist.

Birthday July 3rd. Age 13. Height 159.2 cm. Weight 45.8 kg. Blood type O. Kekkei Genkai is the Byakugan. Team Guy. Based on the facts he's the obvious winner, however I believe Naruto will win. I'd put all my money on it.

I sighed heavily. Where are they? They're late.

AHHH! I turned to see Naruto fly through the doors and skid right behind us. I sweat dropped. Oh Naruto. He sure knows how to make an entrance.

Shikamaru and I both took an arm of Naruto's and lifted him up. "Oh man what a drag." Shikamaru said. I merely sighed.

"Guys run! You won't believe this but there's a huge heard of stampeding bulls headed this way!" He pointed out.

Just what were you up to big brother? Naruto and Shikamaru spoke about it for a bit till Naruto looked around and noticed no one cares.

"Hey, where's Sasuke?" Naruto asked looking for him. "I'm supposed to be fighting Dosu, but he's missing too." Shikamaru said. I looked to the side.

I was there when Dosu died. He was killed by Gaara. The proctor then told them to stand up proudly to the spectators.

We were in a large arena. The spectators viewed us from above. It was pretty impressive. The crowd cheered for us. "You guys are the heroes of this final competition."

Tch. This whole event is ridiculous. The whole point is to appoint ninja for the village. To protect the village. It's not something to watch for entertainment. Oh well. Might as well get this over with. You better hurry it up Sasuke. The party is about to get started.
