Light vs. Dark: The Two Faces of Gaara!

I winced as Gaara smacked Naruto away. "NO! Leave them alone!" I shouted at Gaara. He merely laughed at him. "And that's exactly why you can't win." He told Naruto.

Huh? "As long as you fight for the sake of others, you'll never advance beyond this level."

"Huh? Are you an idiot? People get stronger when they have someone they want to protect! Haku proved that!" I shouted at Gaara. He turned and glared at me. The sand hand tightened more and I coughed. Shit.

I should probably stop pissing him off. Or I'm done for. "Only one can remain undefeated. And only he will feel what it's like to truly exist. Forget your friends and fight for yourself."

I bit my lip, ignoring their conversation, I racked through my brain on any idea to get out of this. If I struggle, he'll only tighten it. I can't perform jutsu's and I can't punch my way out of this.

Damn it all to hell! I heard shouting and looked over to see Naruto lunge at Gaara with a kunai. Gaara seemed to be in pain and whacked Naruto with his tail as he held his head and scream.

That sadness is back in his eyes. What's wrong with this kid? Does he have PTSD? I glanced at Sasuke. He's still in pain. The mark, it's bringing him pain.

Sasuke . . . I have to get to Sasuke! I'm still learning about my chains, and I suck at healing, but maybe I can do something about it. After all, the Uzumaki Clan is famous for their sealing techniques!

But that doesn't account for things like the curse mark. Being reasonable, I can't help him. But I'll be damned if I'm not with him when he's in pain!

"What's the matter? Don't you care what happens to your precious friend?!" Gaara shouted. The sand tightened. "AHG!" I shouted. Shit. I need to focus. I have to get out of this. But how?

Naruto bit his thumb and did hand signs. My eyes widened. Is that a summoning? Is he going to summon Chief Toad?!

That takes up too much chakra. But it could work. "Summoning Jutsu!" I watched the puff of smoke appear and disappear, revealing a small orange frog.

My eye twitched. Why does this not surprise me? Naruto looked at me, staring at me worriedly before looking at his hand angrily. Naruto.

"Worried about the others? That's your big mistake! When I fight, I fight for me and me alone!" Gaara shouted. I glanced his way and gasped. His body . . . he's turning into a sand demon.

This isn't good. The One Tails is dangerous. He broke off the sand wrist, and formed a new hand so he could move, whilst keeping me pinned.

No! No! "Sasuke! Naruto, Sakura!" I shouted worriedly. Leave! Leave you idiots! Why the hell are you still here?! You don't stand a chance! Even I don't stand a chance! I watched in horror as he transformed.

"Only by attacking and defeating me can you free her. And you should hurry. With each passing second the sand will harden until it crushed her to death."

Well then.

I may be in a bit of trouble.

Gaara attacked Naruto with Sand Shuriken, sending him flying as he saved the small frog. I bit my lip, drawing blood. Come on Miyu! Think! Do something!

There's got to be something! I don't care how reckless it is!

~Flash Back~

"Wha!" I shouted as Sasuke pinned me to the ground. I stared at him and my face heated up. He noticed this and a light blush covered his face as well. "What are you going to do? You can't move."

I sighed loudly. "Alright, alright, you got me. But, I still have one last trick up my sleeve!" I declared, a smirk playing on my face.

He raised an eyebrow. Still smirking, I moved my head up, capturing his lips with mine. Warmth flooded through me and he loosened his grip, grabbing my hands instead of my wrists, he deepened the kiss.

My chest tightened and my stomach twisted like it always does when I kiss him. We pulled apart, and I stared into his eyes, a warm smile on my lips. A light smile was on his face as well.

I then smirked and flipped us, pinning him to the ground. His eyes were slightly widened, before they held annoyance. I giggled and sat up, sitting on him. "I win." He rolled his eyes at me.

"That's not going to always work." I chuckled and pecked his lips before jumping off. I helped him up, but he didn't let go of my hand. Instead he brought me to him, and wrapped his arms around me.

I immediately hugged him back, burying my face in his chest. "Alright, give it some space." Kakashi said, appearing out of no where. "WHA!" Sasuke and I shouted, jumping ten feet away from each other.

Kakashi smirked from behind his mask. My face flushed before I glared at him. "Beat it sensei!" I shouted angrily.

He chuckled and shook his head lightly. "Although, that was a good idea to escape. Way to use your head." I sighed, totally embarrassed. Well this sucks. Next time I'll just head butt him.

I sweat dropped at the thought. Head butt my boyfriend? I shrugged. I could see it.

~Flash Back End~

I watched as they fought, before determination showed in Naruto's eyes. Naruto. He's working so hard. He's doing his best. While I'm here, stick to a tree, slowly being crushed to death by sand.

I can't let him be the only one trying his best. Never give up. That's what you always say, huh big bro? I just can't sit here and not try everything.

That would be a blemish to the Uzumaki name!

Sighing loudly, I concentrated. "Miyu?" Sakura asked, looking at me in confusion.

I groaned. "This is going to hurt." I grumbled. I could see Sasuke, looking at me as well. "Here goes nothing!" I shouted. Without further ado, I slammed my head back onto the tree.
