"I'll kill you!" Is this the Nine Tails? That's not my brother. I shook a bit in fear and gripped onto Sasuke's dead body.

I'm scared. I'm so scared.

He moved at high speeds, catching up to Haku's speed, even beating it. Naruto was growling like an animal. I just shook harder.

His red chakra swirled and blew the pebbles around. I continued to watch as Naruto kept on catching Haku and attacking.

He has blood lust in his eyes. He's not a human at the moment. He's a beast! I just sat there, paralyzed with fear. He roared as he attacked again. His chakra increases every second. Whenever Haku attacks him with needles, Naruto just lets it hit him and then blows it away with the chakra.

I shook my head. He's not my brother right now.

He's easily attacking Haku. Like it's nothing. And that's just with chakra. His hits are far worse. He hit Haku far away and stood there.

"N-Naruto. Don't." I whimpered.

He ran at Haku with the full intent to kill. "Don't."

He brought his fist back to finish him off. "STOP IT BIG BROTHER!" I screamed. Naruto's fist stopped just centimeters away from Haku's face.

He looked back at me. More tears were running down my face. I felt so weak and vulnerable. "Please stop. I'm scared. I need my big brother." I cried out.

His face softened. He was straining to gain control, but eventually his red eyes returned to their original blue state. His newly found darkened whiskers were back to just thin lines. His chakra was no longer red, but blue.

I sighed in relief. That's my brother. "Why did you not strike? Did you not vow to avenge your comrade's death? Or was it just empty words?"

Naruto just got frustrated with Haku's words. So he just punched him with regular strength. Haku started patronizing him and practically asking to bring out the fox. Why? Doesn't he want to live? He shouldn't waste his life! Sasuke . . . he didn't want to die.

I looked down at the dead boy in my arms. He had a dream, an ambition. And now he can't do it.

I moved some hair from Sasuke's face. I cradled his cheek in my hand. "Sasuke, please wake up." I whispered.

I looked back to Naruto and Haku. "To show mercy to those who oppose the one you serve, to allow his enemies to live when you can strike them down. This is not compassion. It is a betrayal of your life's purpose. For what reason do you exist then? You're of use to no one. Life has no meaning."

What is with him? Why is Haku so persistent about this? About Zabuza?

I can't judge him though. I live for Naruto, right? What other reason do I have for living, if not to protect Naruto?

"Miyu . . . don't let your dream die. Even if it's for Naruto, you need to grab hold of a new dream." Sasuke's words ran through my mind. A new dream huh? In all aspects, Haku and I are the same.

I wonder what's going to happen. "This day has shown I am no longer of any use to Zabuza." What? Is he talking about the fact he couldn't beat Naruto after a part of the Nine Tails escape?

"Zabuza. Why that guy anyway?! To devote your life to a rotten scum who doesn't know the meaning of the word honor! If he's the one person who matters to you, then that's the sorriest thing I've ever heard!"

Naruto. "There were once others who mattered to me. Long ago my father and my mother." My eyes widened as Haku continued his sad tale.

His parents were poor farmers. They were content and kind to each other and Haku. Because of something that happened long ago, it changed their life. And the truth is it's unfair. It's unfair that everyone puts the blame on those who didn't do anything. They're just upset with the path and yet they punish those who had done nothing to them.
