We continued running, aware of them following. And quickly might I add. Tch. I continued throwing paper bombs as Akamaru set them up as well. They're really coming at us. Glancing back I see the two headed freak has his curse mark activated. That's not in our favor.

Curse Marks are especially powerful. It basically boosts your power with each phase you enter. Akamaru barked at Kiba. "Akamaru. Once you set the bombs get moving." He encouraged. The little pup barked and waited for the freakWe pushed ourselves to move faster, hearing the paper bombs go off behind us.

We stopped temporarily and turned, watching the explosions. "Alright." Shikamaru smiled lightly. "He fell for it!" Naruto cheered. I narrowed my eyes at the explosions. That was too easy. Was it a slip up from his desperation to get Sasuke back? Or is this a trick? "Akamaru, nice work buddy." Kiba praised. The little dog barked happily at the compliment.

I kept my gaze fixated on the falling tree and the destroyed area. The freak jumped up, over the smoke, unharmed by the attack. "Don't you mess with me!" Akamaru went to run, but tripped on the branch, falling down. "Akamaru no!" Kiba shouted in worry. He immediately went to his partners aid as the freak lunged for him. "That's the last time you park at me mutt!" The freak shouted, shooting some wire and tying the pup to the branch, paper bomb in front of him.

"Akamaru!" I shouted in worry as he let out a pained bark at the tightness of the wire. "Hang on!" Kiba shouted, landing on the branch as the freak descended towards him. A bright light emitted from the paper bomb. "NO!" I flash stepped over to Kiba. Snatching his collar, I pulled him down and covered him and Akamaru with my body as the paper bomb went off.

I bit my lip, causing it to bleed in pain. The branch we were on was destroyed, and we fell off, along with the freak since he was in range. My head throbbed and I released the boys. We hit some rocky wall before continuing our fall. I opened my eyes, trying to clear my vision. The explosion not only blinded me a bit, but I don't have a great sense of direction now.

Opening my eyes, I saw that we were falling into a chasm. Kiba screamed loudly at the sight of the fall. Shit! Blinking my eyes rapidly, I tried focusing. I turned around to look up, seeing Kiba, holding Akamaru tightly to his body. Luckily I had covered the dog enough that he wasn't injured in the explosion. "Kiba! Grab on!" I shot my hand up. We were beginning to near the bottom.

He obeyed my orders and reached out. We missed each other hands once, twice. The third I gripped his hand tightly. But the ground is near. Without hesitation, my chains wrapped around us, creating a small sphere barrier.

I made some more chains exit and connect to it and pulled the two to me tightly. We hit the ground roughly, but thanks to the extra chains, the shock of the impact didn't make us hit around in the sphere. The sphere barrier rolled around a bit before I made it disappear, making us fall onto the ground.

"That was close." I murmured. Kiba nodded, relieved. Looking around, I spotted the freak. I narrowed my eyes on him. He's down for the moment. I slowly walked towards him. "Miyu." Kiba whispered quietly. I ignored him and continued walking towards him, pulling out a kunai. Once I was by him, I saw that he was unconscious.

I straddled him and held the knife to his throat, about to slit his throat open. "No!" Kiba shouted, grabbing my arm. "Wha? Kiba! Let go!" I hissed. He shook his head, his eyes holding surprise and mild fear. But why the fear? "There's no need to kill him. Just incapacitate him." He reasoned.

I stared at him, dumbfounded. Killing him will ensure our chances of getting out of this. If he's alive he can follow. Why is he so against it? "Why? He'd kill us. And as long as he's alive, our chances to get Sasuke are thin." He bit his lip, eyes holding determination.

I sighed, shaking my head. "Alright." I agreed. Relied flooded his face and he released my arm. Looking down at the man below me, I thought back to it. This guy. He attacked our village. He created that barrier, helping Orochimaru kill gramps. He took Sasuke. And not to mention the little punk almost killed Shikamaru with those shuriken and kunai.

All of me wants to kill him. A simple slice to his neck, and he's gone. For his crimes, he shouldn't be allowed to live. And even if I didn't have a grudge against these sound losers, I'd probably still take this course of action. Killing him, and the rest, can ensure Sasuke's return. And the sooner this is over, the sooner I can go back for Choji and Neji. I rose my arm up and stabbed straight into his leg. His eyes snapped open at the pain and I slashed it down, slicing the tendons in the process.

He screamed loudly and kicked me off with his other leg, flipping up. I glared at him. He shouldn't be able to stand. "You bitch." He seethed. Without anymore words, he lunged at me. What the? Tch. I readied my kunai, however Kiba lunged at him. "We got this guy Miyu! You go on with the others!" He shouted. Akamaru barked in agreement from next to me.

I looked at the two, biting my lip. I don't want to leave them behind. I don't want to leave them with this freak. But I need to go help the others retrieve Sasuke. I can't let Sasuke end up in Orochimaru's hands. "Alright. Don't you die on me dog boy." With that, I Flash Stepped to our leader.

I stood by Shikamaru, but Naruto wasn't here. Instead it's the loud girl. "Naruto go on ahead?" I asked. She's the last one. Shikamaru shook his head, an upset look on his face. "No. I made a miscalculation. Someone else appeared. One of Orochimaru's men. He took Sasuke from us. Naruto went after."

My eyes widened in shock. No way. But . . . son of a bitch. Gritting my teeth, I turned all my anger towards the girl. "Miyu, go help Naruto with him. I'll be fine on my own." I glanced at Nara. All he's got going for him is his Shadow Possession Jutsu, and she's already aware of it. But he is a genius. He can easily outsmart her. Besides, she looks like she has a temper, meaning she won't be hard to outsmart.

But Nara . . . I haven't seen him fight other then the exams. And he was mainly on the defense. Can he even play offense? Well, obviously he can handle her if the gramps and the other ninja saw him fit for Chunin. I'm just going to have to have my trust placed in him. I mean he hasn't let me down yet. I'll believe in you Nara.

"Alright. Stay safe Shikamaru." I started to jump in the direction I sensed Naruto. "No you don't!" The girl went to block me but Shikamaru cast his jutsu, making her jump back to avoid it. I jumped again, about to leave, when someone tackled me roughly, making me let out a small shout as I was slammed into a tree. "Miyu!" Shikamaru shouted in shock and worry.

What the hell hit me? Opening my eyes, I saw someone holding a long blade to my throat. The cool of the steel sliced slightly onto my skin, making a small cut that burned as the air hit it. I stared at the sword before following it up to the arm and then to the face. As soon as I met familiar dark blue eyes, I let out a loud groan of annoyance. "Are you kidding me? This is getting really old Haru."
