Nobody reacted the way he wanted to his incredibly stupid entrance. Jiraiya laughed nervously. "Awe don't give me that! One wink from a pretty girl and you turn into a mountain of mush! You fell for it like a ton of bricks Pervy Sage!" Naruto shouted.

I nodded in agreement. "I really wish you wouldn't call me that in front of other people." Our temples throbbed in annoyance. "Pervy Sage is a perfect name for you! No way Naruto was the only one to come up with it!" I shouted.

"We got worse things to worry about then what these guys think of you! Get 'em Pervy Sage!" Naruto said, pointing towards the two. As the two continued to squabble, I looked at Sasuke worriedly.

He caught my gaze. He mouthed something. I read his lips. It's okay. I'll handle it. I shook my head feverishly.

The fish man chuckled. "Whatever name you go by Master Jiraiya, I must say you're something of a disappointment. A lecherous old man with the disposition of a child. It's almost impossible to believe that you are one of Three Legendary Sanin."

Naruto flipped. "You already know who he is?" He asked in disbelief. I see. That's why that woman approached us. They sent her.

"Uh, don't be fooled by appearances or anything these two little squirts say." Pervy Sage said, stuck on the lecherous part of his speech. "So, you somehow managed to reverse the Genjutsu we cast on her eh?"

Genjutsu. I must say it's not exactly my strong suit. In fact I'm worse then Sakura at it. I can identify it and break small Genjutsu's, but against Itachi Uchiha? Impossible.

Jiraiya leaned the woman against the wall. "What kind of coward would do something like that? Using Genjutsu like that to cast an illusion on an innocent woman. All in order to separate Naruto from me."

I see. I turned to Itachi, looking at him sadly. "Couldn't you have just paid her?" I asked. He stared at me a bit. "They don't care. Because all they're really after is Naruto."

I know. But to think Itachi would do that. "That explains how Kakashi knew. Now I understand, he learned it from you." Wait . . . is that why Jiraiya took Naruto? If so then why me? The Nine Tails is sealed inside of him.

Probably so when he grabbed Naruto it'd be easier. If I had known he was in danger, I wouldn't have made him pay me.

Not giving back the money, but I feel a bit bad.

"You are right. Naruto is the prize that the Akatsuki are after. And we will have him." Akatsuki? What's that? Itachi and his friend . . . they are wearing matching cloaks. They're after Naruto. But the Akatsuki are after him as well. What is it?

An organization? A person?

Something doesn't sit well with me. And that guy. The fish. There's something strange about him. The more I stared at him, the more familiar he appeared.

That's right! He's Kisame Hoshigaki! I saw him in the Bingo Book with Zabuza. It was only briefly. Gramps caught me, and snatched it away. I haven't been able to find where he put it since. I was only able to see a couple of them. His was next to Zabuza's.

And he's also an S-Rank criminal.

The toad in front of us disappeared. "No way are you getting Naruto." Jiraiya said determinately. "We'll see about that." Itachi spoke calmly.

"Actually, this is all very convenient. I can eliminate you both at the same time." That's true. I'm certain Jiraiya can wipe both of them out easily. "Stay out of this!" Sasuke shouted.

I turned my gaze back to my boyfriend, holding his wrist. I think Itachi broke it. "The only one who is going to eliminate him . . . is me!"

Sasuke . . .
