Y/N and Tsu both climbed up and onto the dry shore, with Mirio in tow. The two hero students panted hard after having to save Mirio from the river a second time. Y/N pulled one of the pistols from his coat, examining it up and down. "My guns got soaked. I'm gonna have to clean them soon, or they'll get corroded." he said.
"That's strange; I never heard you worry about that before?" Tsu realized.
"Yeah, I learned the hard way what not taking good care of your guns can cause. Never again." Y/N said. He recalled the time not so long ago when he had Overhaul on the ropes, only for his pistol to tragically jam. As Y/N felt a slight shift in movement beside him, he aggressively gripped Mirio's arm. "You jump in that river again, and I'll kick your ass the next time I pull you ashore. Knock it off." Y/N threatened. Just then a powerful, almost monumental explosion roared on the other side of Ground Beta! As the smoke rose in the blue sky, it seemingly resembled a large black skull, before beginning to dissipate.
"Bakugo must've found the villains." Tsu simply said.
"Oh, great. Bakugo and company get the glory, meanwhile I was stuck rescuing Aqua-Man, here." Y/N groaned.
"Is there an Aqua-Man? That name sounds pretty legitimate." Tsu noted.
"I hope not, that's like the lamest name ever. Besides, the last thing this world needs is more fish-fuckers." Y/N replied.
Meanwhile, Izuku, Sero, Uraraka and most of Class 1A stumbled out of the explosion area. They had all practically been at ground zero, leaving everyone shellshocked and their hair hilariously frizzy. Many of the students collapsed to the ground, as a UA robot then came to grab Bakugo on Aizawa's orders.
Needless to say, Aizawa and All Might were fairly impressed with the classes' performance. With the exception of Bakugo and company, everyone had utilized their quirks efficiently and worked together well. Although, Y/N was somewhat reprimanded for multiples uses of unregistered support gear.
"I don't recall saying you could bring that bike of yours to Ground Beta. And what was that foam stuff?" Aizawa questioned.
"A. It's my motorcycle. I can comfortably ride it, even with another person. If I have a way to get to the people who need me even faster, then shouldn't I use it? B. That was expanding riot foam. Mei helped me put the shells together recently. It's extremely effective and versatile for both rescue and capture. That said, the ammo takes a lot of time to make." Y/N explained.
"You still don't even know what that bike runs on, is that right? Also, how do you keep getting all these rotary grenade launchers?" Aizawa asked.
"A. It's true; Mei and I haven't accessed the fuel tank yet. The bike is really sophisticated tech, but weirdly designed. B. Honestly, when I want another grenade launcher, I usually just annoy Yaoyorozu until she creates me one." Y/N said.
"I have no valid defense." Yaomomo added, slightly pouting.
'These kids make me want an early retirement.' Aizawa thought, frustrated. Of course, those events were only a mere warmup for what was coming the next day...
The Next Morning:
It was nearly the end of the second semester, and the weather was beginning to get cold. The entirety of Class 1A stood out in the training grounds, many wearing versions of their costumes modified for the winter. This time it they were in, not Ground Beta, but Ground Gamma. As an industrial site compiled by many factories that form a labyrinth, it was a perfect place for the day's planned training.
"It's finally time! Aren't you excited?" Hagakure shouted, Her boots and gloves were floating and kicking wildly in the air, as though she couldn't stand still.
