Chapter 20~ hugging helps

The thoughts raced across Emma's mind.
"Emmy.."
'Wait did he just call me Emmy?'
She looked over to Jade.
"I-it's not all that bad.. Tanz is still here isn't he?"
Tears spilled over her eyelids.
"N-no..."
She said getting choked up again. Jade walked over and hugged her. She was shocked but didn't do a thing to stop him. She enjoyed the comfort. No one would hug her at home. She was supposed to be the strong one even with her heart 'shattering' a little everyday. The tears wouldn't stop this time.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
Jade questions.
"Sure-"
She sighs.
"Why not?"
He lets her go from the hug and she wipes her face.
"T-Tanz-"
The name was so hard for her to say.
"- was my best friend. We where never unfused.. Except once."
She chuckles remembering the fight.
"But after that we were back together. I trusted him so much...-"
Her eyes started to water.
"He was.... He was the one person I could trust. The fusion of Aqua, just proved it. Being in the fusion just amplified the trust and friendship..."
Tears slid out.
"T-they day it happened, we unfused to talk about urgent matters... And he gave me this..-"
She gestures to the dark blue flower.
"Then she came..."
"Who?"
"Eclipse."
She said angrily.
"We went outside, as Aqua, only to see that she was there. W-we bounded up to her and she mocked us.. Then split us...-"
More tears, she started to get choked up.
"I-i wasn't fast enough, I-I couldn't s-save him..."
She started to shake slightly.
"I could've saved h-him.."
Jade pulled her into a hug.
"Shhh"
He said trying to calm her down from her now shaking state. She sobbed.
"I-i coulda-"
"It's ok... It's ok... Shh..."
He slowly patted her back.
"I j-just wish I-I could see him.."
The room slowly lit up, and holo-Tanz appeared. Emma looked over and gasped. She continued to cry..
'It didn't help...'
She tried to wipe away the tears. Jade pulls his sleeve down to cover his wrist and wiped her tears.
"It will all be ok."
He said looking into Emma's eyes.
"B-but he's g-gone."
She managed to choke out.
"We will bring him back... I promise."
~END FLASHBACK!~
Emma looks up she was standing I front of the temple again. She and Jade talked all the time, unbeknownst to Ally and Star. Emma trudges in. Star and Ally were talking, in the corner around the counter. Emma felt her face to make sure she didn't cry during her Flashback, she did. She wipes her face with a piece of small Green fabric. She then goes to the warp pad.
"Emma where are you going?"
"Out on a mission..."
"Can we come to?"
"N-no...."
{Emma warps to the Emerald forest}
"She sticks to herself to much... We gotta fix this now."
Star said with finality as the looked at Tanz's shards in their hands.
