Chapter 27

Emma looks at Jade and he hugs her again.
"What's with all the hugs?"
"2 months..."
Jade choked out.
"You've been gone 2 months."
Emma tightens her arms around them.
"I'm so sorry..."
"Where is Indi?"
"She is somewhere where she can never hurt you."
Emma was puzzled.
"I-I couldn't get to you in time he... Indi... White Topaz... Had you cut up and I-I...."
"Shhhhh I'm ok now."
'Is this how I acted about Tanz?'
Tanzi climbed in between Jade and Emma's hug.
"Don't forget me!"
"I never would be able to..."
Emma says tears the eating to spill out.
"Neither could I."
Ally and Star look at each other and nod.
•{A Month Later}•
"Jade I can't grow anymore..."
Kid-Tanz whined.
"So you want to grow more?"
"Yessssss!"
Tanzi whined.
"Fine!" Jade says.
They were in a little common room Emma, Jade, and Spinel built. Emma was in her room. Star was outside training with Ally. Jade was washing Tanzi's dishes.
"YAAAYYY!!!"
Tanzi bellowed as he ran around in circles.
"Calm Down, you know what you have to do right?"
Tanzi nodded excitedly. He took a deep breath and glowed and retreated to his gem. (An: This isn't necessarily a poof since it was a choice not forced from an injury.)
Jade walked over and picked up the incomplete gem and walked to the door of the temple. He opened his door to reveal a large, dark green lab. He walks back to a boiling test tube and a bubble containing 2 shards. He popped the bubble and took the smaller shard of the two. He placed it next to the incomplete gem and found the places where it was supposed to be. He takes the test tube and puts a few drops onto the crack. And the shards seal together. Jade then takes the new imperfect gem out to the house. Jade then sat it on the couch.
