Chapter 28

Soon Emma emerged from her 'room' to see Tanz's imperfect gem on the couch. She braced her self for a fight unaware that this is how Jade worked his 'magic'. As soon as Emma went for her weapon Tanz's gem started to glow. It lifted of the couch and the blob started to form and warbled to Tanzi, then to kid-Tanzi, into a Emma sized morph. Tanz hit the floor and looked up, vaguely aware of his surroundings.
"T-Tanz?"
Emma stuttered out. The blue haired, Emma sized boy looked at her and said with a blank expression.
"Who are you?"
Sadness, and shock was smeared across her face. Jade walked back inside.
"Wow you grew up a LOT this time."
Tanz still looked confused. Then Star and Ally walk in.
"Guys!!"
Tanz said and ran up to them and hugged them. Ally and Star slowly hug him back slightly shocked.

I walked up to Tanz and saw the one person I trusted without a shadow of a doubt. Only to see a blank expression.
'How does he remember them... But not me?'
Tears started to blur my sight. I walked to the door and went to my room.
The crystallized forest was playing the tune of... My song... And I couldn't resist it... I need to let some tears, anger, and some unknown feelings out...
I started to sing.

Tanz released them from the hug. Jade was studying him. Ally and Star walk over to Jade with questioning glares on their faces. He shrugs.
"Our Gems seem to hold memories.. And certain parts of us. Tanzi was just the pre-Tanz that grew in the ground. Kid-Tanzi was just a more matured fun side of Tanz. Now I have added some memories... And mayhaps this particular shard didn't contain any 'Emma' memories."
"Emma?"
Tanz questioned.
"Is she not..."
He looked at himself.
"WE AREN'T FUSED?! WHERE IS SHE?!"
Tanz bellowed in unbridled fury.
"That was her..."
The fury left his face. Along with the confusion, happiness, everything except for.... Sadness.
