Secrets and Sins

Arriving back at the hotel, Troianne was out of breath and freezing cold from her fast paced run back. She searched the lobby with her eyes in hopes of finding Gaston. He was not anywhere that she could see. Just then Duncan and Becker came through the Hotel doors. Not believing what she was seeing she ran full tilt into Duncan s chest.

Duncan saw a woman running towards him and could not believe his eyes when he realized it was Troianne. He caught her in his arms, hugging her with everything that was in him, then shock took over his brain as he remembered leaving her back in England.

Becker just watched not believing what he was seeing. Troianne was here! Here in France. But how?

Duncan pushed her back to take a good look at her. "My Darling, how did you get here to Versailles?

"Oh Duncan, you will not believe this but I did it again, I time traveled!"

"But how?" Becker asked.

Troianne looked over to Becker who stood there dumbfounded. She turned to him biting her lip.

"Becker, I fell off a horse on my way to London and hit my head, when I woke up I was here in Versailles."

"You actually traveled through time from one place to another in the same day?"

"Yes, I don't know how I did it but here I am, and I have news of Diana!"

"Becker, She spoke to me!"

"She spoke to you? Troi honey, you must have hit your head really hard, maybe we should take you to see a..... never mind, uh Duncan maybe you should have a look at her head."

"No, I really did hear her, she spoke to me. She told me she was with Lena and a man named Garvey....Monsieur Garvey and that they had her in a dark place, she told me she was hungry and tire, she called me Mamma."

"Duncan you believe me don't you dearest?" Not knowing how to answer that he just smiled and rubbed her back in circles. Nodding his head he looked to Becker, who seemed deep in thought.

"Troianne, sweetling do you have a room here at the Mercure?"

"Yes, she said giggling. I told them that Terrence would be coming along shortly with my luggage and they gave me a room in anticipation. By the way where is Lord Hollingsworth?

"He is back in London, he had to attend to things back there."

"Duncan, we need him here to help us find the society!"

"Shhh, my darling, I am sure Becker will be able to help us out."

Becker realized Troianne was telling the truth, the only other person he knew that could talk to anyone like that were he and his mother. From the time he could first remember, he talked to his mother telepathically. She was a woman of many psychic talents. Mattie Love, knew things no other person knew, she had nine children, the only one she could mentally communicate with was Becker, he was also born with the gift but never had any need to use it. Until now.

Duncan, felt her head to see if she had a fever and was hallucinating. She could not have possibly spoken to a newborn child with her mind. He furrowed his brows in worry and pulled her close.

Troianne there is something I need to tell you. But first, I need to contact the society as quickly as possible. Duncan maybe you should take Troianne up to her room, check her head over. I will be back as soon as possible.
