Chapter 39
Meeting Of The Society #3
Frozen mist permeated the deep bowels of the third realm as Tardik sat on his thrown eating the flesh off of bones of an child molester. Tossing the bones in a pile by his seat, he listened as Joe Nelson described to him again how he was going to kidnap the child again, this time making sure that no one or nothing stopped him. Tardik was growing weary of Joe's babbling. "Cease your prattle you damned idiot, I am getting indigestion just hearing your voice. Your so called plans will never work, do not placate me with your stories of cunning ideas."
"But sire, I only mean to please you, I have numerous ideas I wish to share with you."
"I have have heard them all and so far, you bore me. Be gone from my sight!
"But Sire," Joe pleaded with a whiny voice, is there naught I can do to please you?"
"I have thought on it long, I do think there is a way for this all to work out perfectly."
'Sire?"
"Come here Joe, sit at my feet, let me tell you of my plan."
As Joe settled at his masters feet. Tardik raised his hand and placed it on Joe's head. In the blink of an eye Joe was transformed into a hell hound, not just any hell hound, the largest, meanest, blackest hell hound to ever live. Snapping his jaws, letting out a loud, strong growl he rose up on his back paws, letting out a howl that shook the rotted walls of the slimy green chamber that barely could contained his large body. Tardik roared with laughter. Come beast, we have work to do, Tardik raised his staff into the air and they disappeared.
Members of The Time Travel Society all gathered at The Hollingsworth Mansion, pleasantries were exchanged. Introductions were made. Misty, her husband and their four companions entered the meeting room with heads held high.Next came Becker, Troianne holding Diana and Duncan. Becker introduced his sister to Troianne, both women eyed one another cautiously. Troianne thought Misty looked like a Goth princess or female vamper, while Misty thought Troianne looked like a high school cheerleader wearing regency clothing. Misty stepped forward greeting Troianne with a smile.
"Hello my name is Misty, I am Beckers sister it is so nice to finally meet your Lady Troianne and oh is this my little niece? She is so beautiful, may I hold her please?"
Troianne was not quite sure she wanted this woman holding her child, related or not it was quite uncomfortable, she cold think of no real argument why Misty shouldn't hold her biological niece. Handing Diana to Misty, Becker watched closely as the exchange of his daughter was made, Duncan stood at Troiannes back in a protective stance.
"Oh hello my darling Diana, you are such a beautiful little princess aren't you?"
As Misty looked into Diana's eyes, she could feel the strong magic in the baby. Diana started to wave her hands, her eyes started to shine with blue light as she smiled for her new aunt.
Diana used her mind speak to ask Misty, why she could feel the identical powers as her own in this woman whom she just met?
"Ah I see my little beauty, you want to know why we share the abilities. Well, let me tell you that you are of my blood, you are way more powerful than I, and your biological father is my brother. I am your auntie. All the women in our family possess great magic, you are only the third female in our family now. Soon you will learn everything there is to know about what magic you possess and how to control your powers. Until then, be a child, enjoy your life and know that your auntie Misty will always be here for you whenever you call."
Misty turned to Troianne. "Diana will reach her majority at the age of 13, she will then come stay with me for a time to hone her skills and control her powerful magic abilities. I must be the one to teach her how to control herself. She is the most powerful one ever born. There will be many that will want to possess her, I will not let that happen. Do you agree to send her to me at the age of 13?
