Dana looked out the window in William's room. She looked out into the dark forest, thinking about the events of the night. Even talking it through in her head, the pieces didn't fit together. There was always a crack in puzzle. When she saw the boy she had fainted, the old lady found her and brought her here. The crack was, was the boy a dream or was he real? As hard as Dana tried, she couldn't remember if it was or not. It felt so real, but facts show that it mustn't been a dream. The boy looked like he was in pain. Dana felt herself gave a connection to this boy. Who was he? Was he a real person, was this telling her something? Dana continued to stare deeply into the forest. As she stared she thought she saw eyes pop out of the forest. Dana leaned closer to the window, squinting her eyes. The eyes came back again. They we're bright white, and slightly blue. Dana watched the eyes carefully. The eyes scanned it's surroundings before disappearing back into the trees. The eyes we're gone but Dana continued to stare at the place where the eyes had disappeared into the large plants. She was waiting for the eyes to reappear again.

Dana heard William enter the room. Dana's eyes didn't leave the trees. She wanted to know who owned the eyes. She wanted to know the story behind the eyes. The urge for her to leave was hard to resist. She knew she couldn't leave again. Not before she had some more information. She had discovered some new information, but her mind felt so clustered and organized and has needed time to think it out. Dana imagined her mind to look like a ball of yarn. She needed to untangle the string and pull them straight. Dana rested her head in her hands, rubbing her temples, attempting to cease the headache that had started to form.

"Dana." Dana turned and she met William's eyes. She quickly looked down, everything coming back to her. William was a distraction. She didn't need a distraction holding her back from what she had to accomplish. She turned her eyes back towards the window. She took a deep breath in. She let out a breath that was shaking and uneven. Her eyes scanned the trees in search of the eyes that had once been there, haunting her, testing her.

She felt someone move beside her. From the corner of her eyes she could see William's tall figure. She felt his eyes on her. It took everything in her not to turn and look at him. She watched from the corner of her eyes as William turned back towards the window, letting out a long sigh.

"Don't leave yet. I know you still need to figure out a few things. Don't leave till you can get your thoughts in order. Don't leave before telling me. If something is bothering you, tell me. Don't keep things from me." William said. Dana dropped her eyes away from the trees and down to her hands.
"William," He turned and looked at her," I don't know what to do." Dana confessed.

"You don't need to know. I'll be here to help you along the way. If you need somebody to lean on, I'll be here."

"What if you need someone to lean on?" She asked.

"You'll be there, won't you?"

Dana looked down at the bottom of the window, pressed against the window was a white piece of paper that read.

Your getting closer. Don't forget, don't trust.

Dana brought her eyes up to meet William's. As if in an instant she felt pain run through her body. She felt her eyes begin to water, her limbs got weak. She clutched her heart trying to control the pain. She choked over her own breath. She fell to the ground, not able to hold her weight. There was a sharp pain that ran through her heart. She continued clutching her chest, breathing fast. Dana shivered on the floor in during the pain. Almost immediately she felt William by her side. Dana could feel the pain slowly ease to a discomfort. Dana looked down at her hands. Her fingers we're skinny and she could see her pale skin begin to lighten even more. Dana watched in fear. She looked up at William, fear and panic spread across her face.

Dana gulped," I don't know what is happening with me."

William was surprised by the state that she was in. Dana was sprawled all over the floor, helpless. William was worried about her. He didn't think she should be there. He felt like she should be somewhere with more help. Like a care place. He thought. I could call a doctor. Yes, a doctor would work.

"I'll call a doctor." He said. He went to get up when she felt Dana's hands grab him and pull him back towards the floor. She pulled him next to her.

"No." She said in a weak, raspy voice. "I don't need a doctor. Stay here. Right here by my side." She said her voice shaky and uneasy.

Reluctantly William laid down next to her on the floor. He grabbed her hand and held it in his not daring to let go of it. Dana leaned her head towards him for comfort since she herself knew she couldn't support herself on her own.
