Spinning around again

Chapter 7

I stare at the test in shock, Jack makes a choking sound and buries his head in my hair.
"Oh..." I whisper "Jack what are we going to do?"
"Nothing, we're going to look after her."
"Her." I whisper laughing from the shock
I'm pregnant!
"Yeah I just think it might be a her you know."
"Guys dinner!" Kate calls walking in and before I can hide it she snatches it up.
Me and Jack make a jump for it but Kate's seen it.
"Oh Elsa! This is great! Will have a baby in the house !" She screams jumping up and down.
I stagger in relief and Kate pulls me into a hug.
"Hang on you've only been dating what like 5 days or something. You guys must be really serious!"
I blush and Jack laughs and stands to.
"No it wasn't like that... It was the party!" I tell her hiding behind my hair.
Kate nods and leads me into the kitchen. I sit down and take my dinner.
"Wow though a baby! That's great! You'll have to get married. Oh can I come?"
"I don't think we'll go that far !" Jack says laughing
But I feel like I've died a bit inside.
"Are you only with now because of the baby?!" I ask standing up again
Kate and Jack stare up at me in shock,
"Because if that's how it is you can leave,"
"No no Elsa it's not like that! I didn't know you where pregnant when I asked you out!" Jack says
Tears begin to steam down my face and Jack jumps up and says
"I do love you I do! It's just its all going so fast!" He tells me then he pulls me into a hug.
I cry into his shoulder and hug him tightly. I'm so scared but there's no way I could ever get rid of her.
"I'm going to be here for you ok? We're going to be here for you," Kate tells me and she joins in the hug.

Jack went home after dinner, he still seemed a little bit shocked but I think he's happy. Kate came and sat next to me on the sofa and wrapped a blanket around us.
"I know your scared Elsa but I know you'll make a great mother," she says
"Thank you. I'm just really scared."
Kate smiles at me and begins playing with my hair.
"Don't be sweetie, we'll figure everything out together. You, me and Jack and then your mum!"
"But what about skating?" I whisper
"Well obviously you can't do it whilst your pregnant but afterwards I'm sure you can."
We sit quietly for a second before I say
"Your the best friend I could ever have asked for."
Kate's laughs
"Of course I'm! That's why we're having a girly day and night tomorrow!"
I groan
"I was going to organise that," I say
Kate laughs and I join in.
"But I have so don't complain darling! We're going to cook cakes and try on dresses and then watch a movie and then have a dinner at a restaurant and it's going to be so fun!" She squeals and all I do is laugh.
