Spinning around again

Chapter 23

I pulled jacks comfy blue hoodie over my head and sniffed unhappily. I hate colds! I'd woken up this morning with a big red nose and a horribly sore throat that hurt so much. Kate walked in with a peach tea in her hands and held it out for me to take. I smiled a thank you and took it from her sipping on it slowly.
"Are you meant to get ill pregnant?" She asked
"Everyone gets ill Kate." I replied my voice rough
She shrugged and leaned over and gave me a hug.
"Anna is coming over later. Is that ok?"
"Of course it is. I'm glad your getting along." I replied sniffing loudly
Kate smiled a bright warm smile
"Is... There anything going on between you?" I asked quietly
Kate didn't anything for a while, her eye twitched nervously
"I was meant to wait until Anna got here." She mumbled
A huge smile roses on my face and I couldn't help but laugh happily. I brought Kate in a tight hug.
"I'm so happy!" I said as we pulled apart
Kate laughed happily and jumped up
"I've got to get ready." She said excitedly and ran up to get ready.
About 10 minutes later Jack came down from his shower in brown knee high tight trousers and no top on.
"Hey beautiful." He said smiling
I smiled back and he sat down next to me and kissed my check. Our finger wrapped around each other's and I leaned on his shoulder.
" I don't like it when your ill." He muttered into my hair as he held me close.
I heard my phone buzz beside me and I picked it up lazily unlocking it.
Do you want to met up today? - Gavin
"Who's that?" Jack asked stoking my hair gently
"Gavin," I replied
I heard him hmm unhappily. Peering up I looked at Jack with a smile on my face
"Are you jealous sweetie?" I muttered
"No." He sounded like a sulking child.
I brought a hand up and stroked his face gently
"I'm I not allowed to have any male friends?" I asked
"Of course you are its just... Something about him... He's not telling you something and I don't like it." Jack muttered
"I believe you." I replied
Jack sighed
"But your going to see him anyway." He muttered
I nodded
"Jack I know you don't like him but... He was always there for me," I said trying to make it not look so bad
Jack sighed again but nodded kissing my forehead.

I met Gavin at his house at 3pm, I was feeling slightly better after a nice shower and lots of warm drinks, so I braved it. Gavin lived in a small flat just off town. The flat  was big enough for one person but seemed a bit stuffy for 3 ( baby). With a bathroom, the kitchen,bedroom and living room where all in the same room. Gavin welcomed me in wearing only a towel, I tried to not to get awkward he used to be my best friend. So instead I sat down on his slightly broken sofa and waited hands on lap while he got changed. 10 minutes later he surfaced with a smile on his face and offered me coffee.
"So how have you been?" He asked switching the kettle on.
"Good yeah." I replied leaning into the couch
"Jack treating you well? He didn't seem like the kind of man you'd date." Gavin said softly almost nervously
I shrugged my shoulders lightly.
"People change."
"Yeah but... Beaters don't."
I looked at Gavin in shock
"What do you mean by that?!"
"Well he didn't seem like the nicest man." Gavin replied with his back to me
Anger bubbled inside me
"So you thought he beats me?!" I snapped
"Well does he?!" Gavin shouted spinning round
His face was bright red
"No of course not!" I said in a harsh voice I stood abruptly "I think I should go."
"Wait Elsa please. I'm sorry..." Gavin said grabbing my arm stopping me
He pulled me around to face him. Panic filled me when I saw his face
"Let me go Gavin. Let me go." I said trying to tug my arm away but he gripped it tighter
"Your so stupid aren't you?" Gavin said and without saying anything else he leaned down and smashed his lips into mine. I let out a squeal of shock and tried pulling back. Wiggling my arm out of his grip I smacked him hard across the face. Then as he stood there in shock I tore out of his apartment crying. I made it outside but didn't stop running. I could hear someone calling me but I didn't stop. Pulling my phone out I Dan the last number I'd called
"Hello?" Jacks voice said
"Jack he... Help me!"
"Where are you I'm coming!"
"The the park!"
Gavin grabbed my arm and tackled me to the ground.
"Let me go!" I screamed beating on his chest
"I wanted to marry you and live with you! I wanted you to have my baby not him!" Gavin spat horribly
I started to choke on my tears
"Your the one that sent me away!" I said in a bubble of tears.
"Don't tell me what i did!" Gavin screamed and brought a hand down to my head
My vision swarmed and darkness grabbed me.

I woke with a start. My breath was jagged and rough and so was my heart. In a second I took in my surroundings. I was in the hospital. Jack and Kate where sat on the chairs heads on shoulders asleep.
"My baby!" I choked out "Gavin!"
Jack stirred and bolted up.
"My baby?!" I asked shocked
Jack let out a cry and gripped my hand. Oh god what was he going to tell me! Please let her be ok. Please!

Hey everyone. Thank you for reading, sorry this chapter took a little longer to write. I'm back at school and haven't had much time. So Gavin is bad what did you think of that? Oh and I'm not even sorry I let it on a cliffhanger.  hehehe .
