Spinning around again

Chapter 22

I shuffled into the hall at 12 o clock nervously. I could hear people chatting and laughing, so I took that as a good sign.
"You must be Elsa!" Came the same bubble voice from the other day
I turned around to see a large women come busting up behind me with a large smile on her face.
"Yep that's me." I muttered
"So good of you to come." Susan said pulling me into a hug.
"Woah ok." I muttered but didn't push her away from fear of being rude.
Susan smiled
"Come on in then." She said and took me inside.
The room was rather small with several chairs in a circle with a table of tea and water. With some biscuits on a plate. 5 pregnant women where stood chatting, each where at different stages of their pregnancy but they all looked amazing. I just looked like a kid. Most of them looked about 30.
"Guys!" Susan called "We have a new member. This is Elsa."
The women looked up and smiled kindly and said hello and we all sat down.  They all introduced themselves and then said how many weeks pregnant they where. When I told them they all went Aw. Not sure why.
"So how old actually are you?" The women called Daniele asked me
"Almost 26 ."I said
"Wow, you know how to look young. Not that 25 is old." Daniele said laughing
"What's your story then sweetie? Married?" Susan asked softly
I shook my head
"Um... She wasn't planned ... Um not that I'm upset about having a baby. I love kids it's just she was unexpected. I wasn't even dating my now partner, we where just good friends. That had secret feelings for each other." I muttered
They all nodded looking supportive. It was kind of nice talking about how I felt to people I didn't know.
"Do you feel forced into the relationship?" The women called Tammy asked
"No. No. I don't think I've ever felt that but sometime I think he does.  I mean he is very supportive and sweet but not to long he ... Said he wasn't ready to be a father. Yes he apologised and came back but sometimes he just doesn't seem to be happy."
"So you think you should hide how your feeling?" Tammy asked again
They all seemed intrigued by me, it was almost scary.
"No, we do talk but he never says it out right." I replied

When the group ended I expected everyone to go home but instead They invited me out for coffee. I shrugged and told them I had nothing to do and it would be fun so off we went. In the coffee shop we all ordered and then they all started chatting. Tammy turned to me and said
"So let's see a pic of your man."
I laughed and got my phone out finding a cute pic of Jack before I showing I showed it to her I said
"He's mine though."
She waved me off
"Show me."
So I did. It was a cute picture I took not to long ago. With him standing cooking with one hand holding the frying pan the other hand in his mess hair. He had his tongue sticking out and was smirking.
"Damn girl." Tammy said "He's wow." She seemed lost for words.
"Now my man looks bad." She mumbled
"Nah go on show me." I said
So she did. He wasn't half bad looking either. We starting talking about our 'men' when Jack ran me.
"Speak of the devil." I said "give me a sec."
Tammy nodded smiling and drank her coffee.
"Hi sweetie was up?" I said
"Hey baby I was just wondering where you where, and I was wondering if you wanted to met me at the shop so we can dinner?"
"Oh um...." I didn't know what to tell him "I'm just hanging out at the coffee shop. Sure we can met up. Um when?"
"Oh if your at the coffee shop I'll come there, we've never got coffee together. I'll be there in about half an hour."
"Oh ok." I muttered and we hung up
Tammy turned back round grinning
"So...?"
I think me and her where going to be good friends I really did.

Half an hour came round and most of the women left but Tammy who was determined to met Jack. So I told her not to mention the group just say we met in the library the other day. Tammy raised her eyebrows but didn't question me. Jack walked in looking fantastic with a tight white top on showing off his muscles and a beanie just like mine. When he saw me he smiled and he's eyes lit up cutely.
"He's even better in real life." Tammy whispered as he made his way over.
"Mine." I replied standing
Jack brought me into a hug and kissed my check
"How are my baby girls?" He asked putting a hand on my stomach
"We're good. Oh this Tammy." I said
Jack smiled and said hello to Tammy, who smiled and kissed his check.
"Alright I'm going to get some coffee, you lovely ladies what anything?"
"Ice tea please," I said smiling
"No thank you." Tammy answered and giggled as he walked away
"Well I've got to go but here have my number we'll have to do that again." Tammy said handing me a slip of paper with her number scribbled on it. I nodded smiling happily and slipped it into my bag. Then she stood waved goodbye, called goodbye to Jack and left.
"She seemed nice." Jack said sitting down and handing me my drink
I nodded taking a sip.
"Yeah she does doesn't she?" I mumbled half away in my own world.
I heard Jack laugh and his hand found mine.
"Sometimes I might not show it but Elsa I really really adore you." He said
A large smile rose on my face as I leaned over and kissed him
"Ditto." I whispered
