Spinning around again

Chapter 11

"Mum what the hell is she doing here?!" I hiss at my mum stepping back from the door.
Jacks hand find my waist holding me up or maybe holding me back I'm not sure. Mum looks up all innocent.
"She's your sister," she says shrugging her shoulders
"No she stopped being my sister when she ran off with some crazy man and told me she hated my guts." I hiss.
Anna looks up sadly, she really has grown. She's plated her ginger hair into two plates and she now has one white strip of hair? Why? I have no clue.
"You invited us."
"No I invited you not Anna!"
There's a glaring contest by me and my mother before Jack says
"Why don't we talk about this ok?" He spins me around and whispers "Listen to what your sister has to say baby because if you lose her you'll regret it."
My shoulders sag in defeat and I lean into Jack hugging him tightly.
"Fine but if you dare shout at me again I will never talk to you again!" I say
That might seem like I'm being over dramatic but after what she did and said to me, I wouldn't be able to take it. I cared for Anna while my mum left us. I looked after her and she just threw it back in my face like it meant nothing to her. I open the door a bit more letting mum and Anne in. Jack leads us into the living room and we sit down, me and jack on the sofa and mum and Anne in the armchairs. Kate breezes in brightly cutting at the tension, she places her amazing look cake on the table and kisses mum and Anna on the cheek then she perches on the sofa arm. Smiling.
"How have you been?" Mum asks quietly
"Yeah ok." I mutter
Jack swishes my arm gently.
"Cake? Anyone?" Kate asks
"I'd love a bit." Anna says
My eyes fall on my little sister and her big bright eyes that look broken and dead.
"Why?" I mutter
Anna freezes she knows what I'm talking about.
"Because...because you you'd cared for me my whole life, you'd forgotten about yourself. I hated that, I hate that you where sad but wouldn't say a word. and I knew if I told you I wanted to leave you would have never stopped worrying about me. Ok so running off with a man wasn't the best way but I was young!" She says throwing her arms up in the air crying. I can't deal with her crying it hurts me to badly. Jumping up I pull her into a hug, her arms instantly snake around me and we cry into each other's shoulders. 
"I'm so glad you made  up baby" Jack says when I sit back down
"Me to." I whisper
Kate hands round some cake which I pass on.
"So um we have something big to tell you." Jack says clearing his throat
I think I'm going to be sick. Jack grabs my hand and nods.
"I'm pregnant." I mutter
and both mine and jacks hands fall to my stomach one over the other. There's silence in the room and only the ticking of the clock can be heard. Mums face is blank and unreadable but Anna looks rather confused. Why? I don't know.
"Oh, well that's a little surprising." Anna says but she smiles " But I'm glad, really I'm."
We all turn to mum for has closed her eyes shut.
"Mum?" I say
She breaths in deeply "Elsa are you out of your mind?!" She says
Ok now I'm confused " No why?" I ask
"Your 25! And your not even married to this man!" She says
I glance up at Jack who looks rather anger and annoyed
"Look ma'am, Elsa and I are very happy together, we don't need to be married to know we love each other. I love your daughter with my whole life, she saved me from a bad time and I have never been more in duet with someone."
Mum splutters for words
"Mum, like you said I'm 25, I have a good boyfriend who I'm so very happy with, I have a amazing best friend that would die for me, my job is getting me enough money and I have a stable home! My child will be happy and so will I." My voice softens slightly
"Please don't argue with me about this Mum, I'm happier then I've ever been I'm my whole life!" I beg
Mum sighed loudly
"I'm not happy with it but ... Ok." She says
I smile brightly and get up to hug her, Anna gets up to and joins the hug. She puts a hand on my belly and giggles
"Wow! Is it a boy or a girl?" She asks
"They think it's a girl." I say
"I'm going to be an aunt!" She screams jumping around the room crazily.

(Time skip: later that night)
We asked Anna to stay the night because it's rather late and I didn't want her to spend money on a hotel room. At dinner time we crowed around the dinner table, Jack and me cooked spaghetti for tea and Anna and Kate went out to buy some
wine for everyone but me. ( they got me some J2O). Anna and Kate seem to get on really get on, they keep giggling and whispering things at the table .
"What do you think their talking about?" I ask Jack as he slips his hand into mine
He shrugs and smiles " Probably our wedding." He muses eating some pasta
I laugh gently
"You haven't even proposed," I say leaning my head in his shoulder
Jacks quite for a moment then he coughs
"Not yet my darling but soon." He says
And my smile just keeps getting bigger.
