Isaiah put his hand up to his tingling jaw. He glared at Butterfly trying to understand what the hell just happened. Butterfly ran down the steps, but Isaiah caught up to her before she could get in her car.
Isaiah grabbed her wrist and gently pushed her up against the car. Isaiah could smell Butterfly's intoxicating perfume, almost making him forget to be pissed off at her. Butterfly noticed how muscular Isaiah was and how close he was to her face. They continued to stare at one another, while their breathing sped up.
"Why did you slap me?" Isaiah asked, glaring down at her.
Butterfly glared back at him. "Let me go." She jerked her wrist, but he had a firm hold of it above her head.
Isaiah leaned in closer to her, to where their mouths almost touched. "Answer me," he replied in a husky tone.
"You're just like Lance," Butterfly said while turning her head away from his penetrating gaze.
Isaiah grabbed her chin, so she was looking deep into his sepia eyes. "What is that supposed to mean?"
Butterfly turned her head again, not wanting to explain how she felt. She closed her eyes to try to gain composure of her emotions. He grabbed her chin again and held onto it, so she couldn't turn her head away from him so easily.
"You're a cheater just like him."
Isaiah frowned at her. "How can I be a cheater to you? We're not even together."
Butterfly stared at him a moment. He let go of her wrist and backed away from her. Their eyes were still locked on each other. Butterfly let out a shaky breath. "Y...you're right. I should go."
Butterfly tried to put her key into the lock but ended up dropping her keys due to her trembling hands. She was on the verge of tears and didn't know why. She felt one slide down her face and she quickly wiped it away so Isaiah couldn't see. She let out a little sniffle and that's when Isaiah turned her around and wiped a tear that escaped.
"I'm sorry," Isaiah replied, with concern spread across his features.
Butterfly gave him a fake smile. "No need to apologize. I know where we stand. I came up with the rules remember."
Isaiah grabbed her face gently and placed a kiss on her forehead. Butterfly's breathing quickened when he placed a kiss on her nose. He leaned back a little to search her eyes. She licked her lips and he brought his thumb up to her plump mouth and traced it. Butterfly closed her eyes enjoying the tingling sensation.
Butterfly felt the warmth of his lips against hers and she sighed at the electricity flowing from her lips to his. He licked her bottom lip, which shocked Butterfly into parting her lips. Isaiah's tongue darted inside with urgency. He liked how sweet she tasted, as their tongues moved in synch.
Butterfly put her hands on his chest. She liked the way his muscles felt against her hands. She moved her hands from his chest to wrap them around his neck. She wanted to savor the taste of him. The excitement she was feeling from the kiss and just being in his arms had her overwhelmed.
Their breathing became ragged as the kiss deepened even further. He nibbled on her bottom lip causing her to moan and grab the small of his back pushing him closer to her. When she did that he stumbled a bit, causing Butterfly to bump into the car. They giggled a little but continued their kiss.
"Hey, can y'all get a room?" Someone shouted.
Isaiah stepped back and ended the kiss. "Damn," he said, breathing heavily.
