Butterfly and Isaiah were sitting in his car trying to figure out what happened between Lance and Asia. They sat in the car because Asia kept trying to fight Butterfly.

Butterfly sighed and turned to look at Isaiah's frowning face. "I promise you that Lance and I are not back together."

Isaiah continued to stare out the windshield. "It looks like I'm going to have to talk to Lance."

"Are you sure? Maybe they just got into an argument. And to make her mad, he told her we were back together."

Isaiah glanced at her. "Either way, he's going to have to be dealt with. I don't like how he's disrespecting my sister and you."

Your sister needs to be disrespected after all she's done.

"I don't think that's such a good idea. You might try to get at him."

"I will not get at him unless he tries to do something. I just want him to quit playing my sister."

Butterfly sighed. "Alright, if that's what you want to do."

Isaiah nodded his head and started the engine. "Like I said, he needs to be dealt with."

Isaiah drove through the circular driveway up to the front part of her house. Butterfly started to tell him not to drive all the way up, but she thought against it. That would only make Isaiah mad and she didn't want to start an argument with him. But if her father saw him drop her off it would indeed start an altercation.

"I'll call you tonight, okay?" Butterfly stated, as she leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Alright, Babe." Isaiah placed a kiss on her forehead before she got out of the car and shut the door.

Isaiah sat there in the driveway until she was safely inside. He wondered when the day would finally come when she would tell him she wanted to be in a relationship. Not soon enough.

Butterfly continued to stare at the scene before her. Lance was sitting in the living room talking to her father, while her mother had a disgusted look on her face. They continued to laugh and talk about stock options, while she stood there in disbelief.

Butterfly cleared her throat. "What's going on?"

Dottie whipped her head in Butterfly's direction first. She stood up and tried to take Butterfly into the other room, but Butterfly stood there as stiff as a board. Dottie could feel her trembling as she had both hands on her shoulders, trying to steady her.

"Why is he here?" Butterfly shouted, anger brewing in her almond eyes.

Charles stared at Butterfly, noticing how angry she was getting. He didn't care because Lance was the best man for her in his opinion, not that thug Isaiah. Charles would do anything in his power to prevent the two from being together.

Charles pointed to the loveseat. "Have a seat," he replied, as he watched her stiffly sit down beside Lance.

Dottie sighed and sat down beside her husband. She was so disappointed in him. He was not the same man she married twenty years ago. The cheating, the other women he got pregnant, the abortions he had them get and her get, was a strain on their already crumbling marriage. Butterfly didn't know about the abortions and the other women. She tried her best to hide it from her. Dottie would be damned if her daughter would end up living the same life as hers. Not while she was still breathing.

Butterfly clenched her teeth. "You still haven't answered my question."

Charles leaned back in his seat. "Lance is here to apologize to you. He's here to get back with you."
