Grant's POV.

"She's losing blood!"

"We have to get the silver bullets out!"

"Move!"

I couldn't handle it, I needed her and I couldn't live without her that would be killing part of me.

This is your fault Grant, you let her down, you lied to her and now she's dying before your eyes.

The tears streamed down my face and I didn't care that I was showing weakness as an Alpha, I needed to be there when she fights.

"Angelica please fight for me, fight for yourself, fight for all of us we need you" I held her hand gently as she held my face in her dainty hands.

"Grant you need to be strong, for the pack, for your family too. You can't let them down" she wiped the tears from my eyes putting alot of her energy to it.

"I let you down" I sobbed, I couldn't look her in the eye watching the life slowly draining from her.

"Grant look at me" she said sternly "You didn't let me down so don't you ever say that again! You did everything you could and I don't blame you one bit, so don't regret anything for my sake. Please stay strong even when I'm gone"

I couldn't help but nod, I couldn't let her wishes not come true "Your not going anywhere" I whispered, she wasn't going to leave me "I need you."

"And I love you with all my heart always remember that" she tightened her hand around mine and the doctors were rushing around, using medical equipment on her not bothering with anything complicated because it will make it worse. But they were doing the best they could.

"I love you with all of my being, every damn fibre"

She smiled warmly at me before directing her gaze to a crying Valerie and Luke.

Val was about to say something before she was shushed.

" Don't you say whatever you were going to say because I know its something regretful! You are possibly the best friend I've ever heard of, not even one of those sappy movies could top you"

Val sniffled smiling "You always know me so well, why possibly? you know I'm the best" She lightly joked.

"That's debatable. Still thinking about it." My Angel winked.

"Luke you take care of her and you are one of the most loyal and trustworthy person I've ever met"

"I know. Don't need to tell me twice" He chuckled through the tears.

"Don't get cocky on me now" she laughed which resulted in her coughing violently.

All the smiles left our face and we faced the real world that my poor baby was dying.

"Please don't leave" We cried.

She just smiled one last time before whispering "I love you all"

Her eyes fluttered closed and I stared at her shocked, eyes searching her face "Angelica!"

The flatline didn't even register in my ears.

(3 hours before)

Angelica was smart, far smarter than her father and me.

Her plan was risky but it was the only shot we had at escaping and finding out where things are, the stone I mean.

The plan was to use the freeze bomb while they were distracted and that would freeze their actions for 1 1/2 hours but we had to time it perfectly because using the bomb could freeze us too.
