You Can't Control Me Alpha [ON HOLD]

Chapter 17: Mates

- The title says it all ;)

"Val! That's like 3 hours away!" I shout as I'm on the motorway, "Come on. Please. Luke said it was ment for werewolves only and it's the best in town, we were suppose to go together but well you know the rest."

"Fine but just to tell you now, I'm only driving and making sure you don't get into trouble" She nods and we remain silent all the way there.

We finally get through the bouncers and the smell of alcohol and sweat filled the place, it doesn't need werewolf smell to know it was intoxicating, I scrunch my nose as Val drags me to the bar, the music is pounding, it's so loud.

"One cocktail please" Val asks, the bartender nods and looks my way, "Nothing for my friend here" Val gestured to me, he hands her the drink and she gulps it down, "Is this really what you like to do in your free time?" I ask, she stiffles a laugh "loosen up, it takes the stress away".

I just sit there and watch my surroundings, Val gulping down alcohol, people dancing, making out and even doing 'it' there, Gosh I hate this experience. Val get's up and finally stops drinking.

"Hey Angel, I'm gonna dance. Stay here" She says making her way down to the dance foor, "I don't think that's a good idea" I ask worriedly, she smiles "Like I said loosen up a bit", with that she danced in the middle of the dancefloor.

I sit uncomfortably and just rest my head on the counter, something taps my shoulder and I immediately jerk up to see a handsome guy looking down at me, "Hey beautiful, " He asks, I freeze no one has ever said that to me "wanna dance?" he smiles.

Is he trying to flirt? Nope he's just trying to get in my pants.

"No thanks" I shake my head and check the time, it's been 10 minutes since we got here, great, Val won't let us go home yet until a few hours. I divert my eyes and feel the same shadow sit next to me.

"Come on loosen up a bit, have a drink or two" He suggests.

Now he's just trying to get me drunk, "I'm ok" I politely say, although in my mind I just wanted to scream 'Leave me alone!'.

"Is little late bloomer afraid of a drink?" I freeze, how did he know? "Who are you?" I stutter.

"Kevin, and I go to your school"

"What do you want?" I spit, he's one of Abby's stupid admirers and he was one of those jerky jocks.

"Oooh this Angel is feisty, I like it" he smirks, I roll my eyes at him and turn away.

"So how about one drink and I'll leave you alone, unless you want me" he winks, wow, he's persistent and so full of him self, I finally agree to ONE drink, because he won't leave me alone until I drink it.

I don't feel like I have a choice.

He smiles and I frown. He orders me a drink since I don't know anything and he whispers something to the bartender which smiles at him, he better not put drugs in it. Why did I agree to this again? The bartender finally hands me this shot filled with this clear liquid.

"Drink up" Kevin smirks. I hold it up hesitating and just gulp the bitter liquid as fast as possible, I cough and practically choke on it.

Soon after I find myself feeling happy and excited, Kevin passes me another drink, I swallow it down and feel dizzy then all the memories of Abby and humiliation flood into my mind making me feel bad, so I decide to down as many drinks as I could.

"Woah, babe slow down" Kevin smirks and puts his hand on my thigh, it feels wierd but I don't protest, was his chair this close before? It was like I was sitting on his lap.

"Why don't we dance?" He repeats, I was just about to say yes when another voice interupted behind Kevin "I don't think that's a good idea" the husky voice echoed in my head.

"Grant what are you doing here?" Kevin asks.

"None of your business, go screw some other girl" Grant glares, without looking back Kevin immediately walks off and Grant takes his place and stares at me.

"What the fuck! why did you do that?" I shouted over the music at him.

He ignores me "I think you should stop drinking, we're leaving" he tries to get the shot glass out of my hand but I jerk it away quicky spilling some of it.

"Why should you care?" I spat, I could feel tension between us.

"Because I am responsible for your safety, and may I remind you, your in my pack for now and I'm the Alpha" he retorts.

"Didn't seem like it, in gym class"

"It wasn't my fault you couldn't handle a little bully and she isn't my pack I can't boss her around just because of you, like I said I'm your alpha for now." Ouch.

"You are no Alpha to me" I spat with venom.

I saw his eyes go dark and his gaze was shooting bullets at me, it was never a good idea to challenge an Alpha, I surrender and let go of my glass and stood up.

"Fine, I'll just go dance" I stubbornly say, he stands up to and steps towards me a few inches between us.

"You will not" He orders, he's just trying to intimidate me I thought.

Did he just try to use his alpha command on me? I'm even more annoyed now.

"I can if I want" I step back facing him.

I suddenly feel my foot twist and make me stumble almost falling backwards and that's when I felt strong hands on my waist.

I open my eyes to see my face was only a few centimetres away from his. Shit.

As soon as our skin touched a jolt of electricity rushed through me, like a 1000 watt battery. It didn't hurt it felt like pleasure hitting me with full blast.

He's my mate, You can't be serious.

I quickly sober up and freeze, he had the same expression as me, wide eyed.
