You Can't Control Me Alpha [ON HOLD]

Chapter 12

Valerie's POV

"Angelica please open this door" I begged banging the door hoping she would open it. I got sent home early, and got suspended for a couple of days.

Did you know beating the shit out of someone in the face, gets you in trouble?

It was fucking worth it though, I smacked that devilish smirk right off Abby's face before anyone could stop me and I know this sounds creepy but the blood from her nose gave me pleasure knowing something broke and it would bruise for a couple of days or weeks if I was lucky.

"Angelica please let me in" I sat my back to her door, I could hear her sobs inside, it broke my heart, she was in more pain than ever even when we were at The Blue Moon Pack.

It's been an hour since I came home and she was still crying. Andrew and I were the only ones to defend her against a huge crowd, How could Grant and Luke let it happen?

Ugh he may be my mate but he's still a bitchy jerk at times.

I hear a car park and the front door open, I jerk up and ran down the stairs. Luke and Grant enter and walk to me with worried faces on. "How's she doing?" Grant asks, I glare at them both, "Why do you care?" I spat.

"She's one of our friends and we care about her."

I keep my gaze "Didn't seem like it! How could you let her get humiliated like that, You're an ALPHA AND A BETA! For god's sake! You could have stopped it!" I chastised.

Luke tried to hug me so I would calm down but I swat his hand away, "It's not like that." Luke tries to explain.

"Then tell me!" I ordered I could slowly see Grant's face darken.

"You can't talk to an alpha and his beta like that, may I jog your memory, you and her are on my territory and I could easily send you back" He threatened.

I had to admit he was a lot scarier in his alpha mode but I wasn't going to give up knowing my best friend was being bullied for one stupid reason so I stood my ground.

Luke was my mate and I loved him but if he was going to act like a jerk to my friend I'd rather stick to her, even if it broke my heart.

She comes first because that's what she would do for me, she stuck next to me when my parents left, she treated and accepted me into her family even if it meant she couldn't go to the best school in England .

"I don't care if you're an alpha, kick me out all you want, it'll do me a favor to get her out of this hell hole!".

Luke looked at me with pleading eyes to stop arguing with an alpha but I just sent him a death glare.

"You don't mean that" Luke spoke, looking at me for an answer saying 'okay I don't mean it' but I meant it, I was going to leave taking her with me even if I was going to leave the man I truly loved.

They were both getting annoyed fast, and I couldn't care less.

"Are you struggling in reality?" Grant spat.

"This isn't about me! It's about my depressed best friend!" I roll my eyes.

"Oh the rich girl who has a big powerful family, who is a descendant of David Liveth, the girl who is smart in every subject and her only problem is that she can't shift?" He gritted his teeth.

I was shocked that he thought her life was perfect and she was just over-reacting this little hickey.

"You don't even know her! You have no facts! Her life isn't like a barbie doll!"

"I don't need to know facts about her to know her life is perfect, she can step into my shoes and see how it feels to have no family and take responsibility for a whole pack!"

How dare he compare his life to her! She has a much difficult life than he has. The fact that he jumps to conclusions without any evidence is just plain stupid.

"Heres some facts! Did you know her parents died when she was 5? She only had her uncle left. You have a sister, a brother and a pack who love and care for eachother, while our pack turned their backs against her! She got bullied all her life so this wasn't the first time, she could snap at any moment since I feel like she's only hanging on by a thread. She is a Liveth which makes her feel like a disgrace since she's the only wolf that can't shift, if that's bad enough well there's more! People think she's just a joke because she is supposed to be all high up but she isn't what they expect so it makes her feel like a piece of crap!" I finally took a deep breathe I could feel my wolf getting ready for attack mode but she whimpered over the fact I wanted to kick my mate in the ass.

They looked stunned and the darkness in their eyes faded into a flash of guilt . I walk off and huff "I'm sorry" Grant whispers "we're both sorry, we didn't know" Luke and Grant bow their heads in shame.

"Don't judge someone, when you don't know them." I had a bit of anger left in me, I walk back to Angelica's room and stood by the door. I heard nothing, followed by slow puffs of breathe, she finally found sleep. No more crying for now, I relaxed.

I sat by her door and waited. I saw Grant, Luke and Jessica in front of me. "How's she doing?" they ask.

"She's finally asleep, for now".
