You Can't Control Me Alpha [ON HOLD]

Chapter 59

Grant's POV.

She rose from the bed she was panting heavily, I couldn't believe it. Was this a joke?

"Angelica?" I whisper looking at my beautiful mate. Power radiating off her made me proud.

Her eyes slowly trained to my face, as if recognition hit her, her purple eyes went wide.

"Grant!" She shouted, I didn't hesitate to pull her into a tight hug, hugging her with all my strength.

"I thought I lost you, I thought that you would never come back" I sobbed, whispering in her ear delicately.

Her hands travelled to my hair and gently stroked my hair "I know Grant, I know... I'm going to stay now. Nothing's ever going to be between us again" she held me tight as we breathed each others scent.

She smelt fresh as if she hadn't died or was a corpse for a day.

My wolf was jumping in joy, howling through my mind and I was sure everyone could feel the happiness coursing through my veins. No doubt in my mind my pack could feel their luna too, her power was too strong to be ignored.

"How? How did you come back? You were dead. Dead. Lifeless. and you wouldn't come back to me"

"The moon Goddess. She told me things you wouldn't believe and I can't even comprehend what she's said yet. But I know I belong here and nothing's going to change that" she hugged me tightly one last time before slowly pulling away.

I held her hand making sure she wouldn't disappear because the Goddess only knows what would I would do if she left me.

"Val" my eyes darted to Val who stood in Luke's embrace shaking with her hand over her mouth. She looked shocked and frightened but through that I could see doubtfulness.

"Is it really you Angelica?" She cried walking forward gently.

My mate smiled and slowly pulled her hand away from mine, I growled lowly. She gave me a small look that had me shutting up.

We are so whipped. My wolf sang.

And I couldn't be happier.

"Remember that time when we were in 8th grade and Billy wa-"

"Angelica it is you!" She ran to her and fully tackled her down, which took us all by surprise

Only you Val.

"Angelica?" Soon it was Luke who gave her an embrace " It was so boring without you? I mean my best friend over here was a wreck. Of course it's natural but where was the amusement in watching him fawn over your every movement? I swear he looked like a lost puppy and he pouted!" Luke complains.

"Point is we all missed you"

She smiled warmly at us and you couldn't miss the glow coming off of her.

I held her again making sure she's here with me "Why were your eyes purple?" I asked. No ones eyes were purple it has never been recorded.

Never.

"I don't feel comfortable talking about it here" she whispered, her now brown eyes gestured to the astonished doctors in the room.

"It's alright, you can tell me whenever" I kissed her cheek feeling the same tingly sensation as before.

"Alpha..." A doctor approached, I tore my eyes away from my Angel to the doctors who seem to have finally moved. "May we check her health? No doubt she has healed well but she's a latent and that's nearly impossible to heal that fast without medicinal help"

I was wary of them but for my sake I needed to know she was 100% healthy.

"Angelica are you okay with that?"  She looked at them and they gave her a proud smile, looking at what their luna has become she slowly nodded.

She was discharged soon after every doctor, nurse and pack member were sworn to secrecy if news got out their luna was alive they were to die a horrible death.

She wasn't as graceful on her feet but that didn't matter because I got to hold her steadily on the way back to the pack house. I instructed everyone to leave for a few hours because I didn't want their luna to be ambushed just yet.

We were on our way to our bedroom for her to rest, when she took a sharp turn to the right.

I followed her warily right by her side and a face of determination crossed her face.

"Angelica? Where are we going?"

"To your office"

"Why?" I ask confused, what's in my office?

"I'll explain later, call the officials and the werewolf committee we need a meeting" 

Without hesitation I contacted Like through mindlink and told him to call everyone.

Few minutes later everyone had gathered to my office with their phones in a box like a school, the windows shut, covered in curtains and only the people Angelica had inspected and trusted were allowed in.

Still clueless I sat next to my suddenly determined mate waiting for the next move.

After everything settled my mate spoke loud and clear. No doubt power radiating from her.

"Now you are all probably wondering why you have been summoned, you may have other personnels outside but whatever is said inside must not go out. I have chosen to trust you and you must respect that or face consequences. Am I clear?"

They all murmured a yes while Val tried to link me asking what was going on from across the room.
I didn't know was my answer.

"Who are you?" One asked, I held back a growl for such a rude question. Everyone should know my mate.

"I am Angelica Marie Liveth, descendant of David Liveth and is the next heir to The Blue Moon Pack " she states proudly.

"So what is this important discussion for? since we were urgently contacted?"

"We are declaring war to The Blue Moon Pack"

I know I know, I was supposed to update earlier and I swear I was all prepared to I just needed to finish the chapter. But I had surprise homework which is always fun! *sarcasm*

Anyways yall say I had that Twilight moment and I didn't even realise till I searched it up 😂 I haven't read the books or seen the film but yanno what a cocincedent.
