"Hey, beautiful. You need to get up." Luke's voice brings me to consciousness. His arms were around my body, keeping me attached to him and the only way to unattach us would be with a key.

I felt too warm and comfy beside him. I don't want to move. He's a wall, blocking out the rest of the world. I don't want to know about the rest of the world. I don't want to get an abortion today. I don't want to kill something that shouldn't have been made in the first place. For the rest of my life, I'm going to remember that I killed a child. They deserved better. They should have had a different mother. They need someone who can care for them like I can't. I'm an ignorant specimen that was caught up in a hurricane. I never wanted them.

"Eve...?" Luke shook me a little.

"I don't want to get up." I groaned and shut my eyes a little tighter.

"Do I have to tickle you awake?" He threatens. No.

"Don't you dare." My eyes opened and I glared at him.

"Then move." He grins and finds that key to unlock his arms from me.

"There's no point. Today is uninteresting." I pull the duvet over me more and keep warm.

"Well, I totally wanted to do this so," he pulled the quilt off and throws it on the floor then straddles me to start tickling my rib cage.

"Get off, you bumface!" I giggled. Yup. I gigged. 15 year old Eve still giggles like a 3 year old.

"Are you going to get up?" He stops and raises and eyebrow.

"I'd rather not." I confessed.

"Then I shall tickle you until you rather would." He seemed so proud of himself! What an ass! He has one hand on my ribs and one under my armpit - the place I was most ticklish.

"Hey, hey, hey!" I cried with laughter.

"You... need... to... get up!" He laughed along side me.

"Okay, okay! Get off!" I almost screamed. He rolled half off of me, sitting beside me. I sat up and tried to flatten out my likely afro.

"Am I really a bumface?" He asks, showing the hurt in his voice.

"You're my bumface." I winked. It was a crap compromise but it worked.

"Then you're my chicken nugget." He winks back.

"You know what, I'm down with that." I might be vegetarian but who cares? I think nicknames are sweet.

"I need to tell you something, nugs." Luke ran a hand through his hair. Nugs? Really?

"What's up, bumface?" I propped myself up properly now, looking at his anxiety infested body.

"Helena said before you got here that none of us could date you... just in case you and that person broke up and it would be too awkward in the house. But I would really like to date you." He explains. I think my heart just broke. I understand where Helena is coming from but she can't stop her child from dating who he wants to.

"I'm sorry, Chicken Nugget." He pouted.

"We can keep it a secret." And the award for worst idea in the world goes to: Eve Elison! Congratulations, Eve, you're prize is eternal self loathing. There are no refunds.

"You'd do that?" He brightens up. I nodded. "Thank you." He smiles and kisses my cheek. I blush again. What the hell? I'm a clusterfuck of emotions right now. So much is going on and I don't know what to do about it.
