I'm meant to be meeting Chloe now. Zack took me to where she and her friends usually sat. He kept warning me on the way about her and her friends and I did take into account what he said. I didn't want to make friends with her and her friends and then have that backfire on me.
She's in the place people called The Enrichment Centre or RC for short. There were sofas in there. Sofas, carpet and a radiator. There were a few spaces on the sofa spare, including one next to Chloe. She almost yells when she sees me.
"Eve! And Zack..!" She frowns at him. I frown at her.
"Thanks." I smiled at Zack.
"I'll be back in like 20 minutes to take you to Maths." He smiled back and walked off.
"Do you and Zack have a thing?" Chloe asks. I sit down next to her and shake my head.
"He's my foster brother." I admitted. I shouldn't be ashamed that I'm a foster kid now.
"You've been fostered by the Andrews? I thought they only took boys." One of Chloe's friends commented.
"Yeah, I'm their first girl for some reason." I shrugged.
"What's it like? Living with all of those boys?" Chloe winked. I tried not to think about Luke. He always puts a smile on my face when I think about him.
"Loud and messy." I cringed.
"Do you think any of them are attractive?" Chloe winked. I can't even stop myself from blushing.
"No." I shake my head.
"The Andrews have good genetics. You'd be a fool not to think at least one of them are hot." Another friend says.
"What's that one who went to college not long ago?" A third friend frowns. Not Luke. Not Luke. Not Luke.
"Luke!" Chloe exclaimed. "He's definitely hot. But Jacob is definitely hotter." I'm so uncomfortable. One is my boyfriend (I think?) And the other is my now brother. Luke is kind of also my foster brother but that's the whole reason as to why we're staying quiet.
"I think Tom is cute, too." A friend adds sheepishly.
"To be honest, I'd bang all of them." Chloe shrugged. I am definitely uncomfortable now. I think I might go cry in the toilet or something. "Anyway, Eve, meet Sophie, Ella, Beth, Naomi, Abby and Micky." Chloe pointed to each one as she said their names. I'm not going to remember any of their names. There's too many.
"Welcome to the Squad." Ella, I think, winks.
"Thank you?" I didn't know how to reply to that.
"What did you do to your arm?" Sophie, definitely Sophie, asks.
"Fell down the stairs. Don't try carrying three bowls and five cups at the same time." I rolled my eyes and fake laughed. "But I'm leaving at lunch to get it taken off so it's okay now, I think." I can't wait to get it taken off. It's bugging me as to how itchy it is.
"Awe, that sucks." Ella pouted.
"Do you know when you are choosing your options, Eve?" Chloe asks.
"I don't even know how or where to go for that. My tutor is Mr Anderson and he was sleeping this morning so I didn't get the chance to ask." I should really choose them soon, though. I might need to catch up.
