Marcus and Jacob's birthday was definitely something. When I got back from school with Zack, the house was almost bursting with people. There were so many boys around me and I didn't know them. It scared me and Zack sensed it.

"Want to go to your room?" He asks me, closing the front door.

"Desperately." I nodded. He takes my hand and starts to drag me up the stairs, saying hello's to every person that we passed.

"I'll tell Helena you're in your room. She'll probably want you to come out later, though." Zack said, leaving me at my bedroom door. I could hear music blasting from downstairs and it wasn't comforting at all. I was so scared but I shouldn't ruin this. This day is about Marcus and Jacob.

I change into more comfortable clothes. The school clothes are not very comfy. I've been wearing 3 tops underneath the school shirt and then extra pairs of tights to keep me warm in school.

Luke comes into my room a few minutes after. I hadn't told him about yesterdays talk and I still needed to but it can wait for now. He shuts the door behind him so we are able to hug without anyone seeing.

"Scared?" He asks me, my head against his chest. We swayed from side to side slowly. Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran was playing and it was definitely a swaying song.

"There's a lot of people here." I said, wanting to cry.

"It'll be okay, Chicken Nugget. They might seem scary but they are really nice people. I promise you that I will be by your side the whole time." He kissed the top of my head softly and moved his hands onto my waist. Catching onto what he was doing, I lifted mine to rest on his shoulders.

"Are we really dancing to Ed Sheeran in my bedroom?" I laughed a little. He grinned down at me and nodded.

"I am going to make you as happy as possible before we go downstairs. You are going to be treated like a princess." He steps away from me and takes my hand. I spin around under his arm with a loving smile. "Plus, this is one of my favourite songs and I've always wanted someone to share it with." He winked.

"It's definitely a good song to dance to." I confessed.

"What's caught your mind?" He asks.

"What do you mean?"

"You've been distracted lately. Want to tell me what you're thinking about?" The song gradually dies out.

"Do you know who Sophie is in the group of friends?" I asked, a little worried.

"Yes, why? Has she done something to you?" He looked a little disgusted.

"No, but the other day, Micky's sister saw us in the coffee shop and told Micky. Obviously her sister doesn't know who I am but now they know you have a girlfriend and Sophie has a crush on you and I don't know what to do about it." I sat down on the end of my bed in frustration and sighed.

"I know Sophie does. Everyone knows she does. But nothing will ever happen because I have you. I have never really liked her anyway. I'm all yours, Eve. I would never go out with her. Not in a million years." He took my hands in his, still standing.

"But what about the girlfriend with no name they saw in the coffee shop? Should I tell them about us or leave her unnamed?" I chewed on my lip and tried to come up with a solution.

"I don't think we can risk telling anyone right now. No offence to your friends but they have large mouths and will tell one of my brothers. Give it a month and let them guess who it is. We just have to be more careful next time." He suggested and I was okay with that answer. I don't want to leave this place and end up in a foster home like the ones that Zack were in. It might be annoying in the short term but it was benefiting the future.
